- Taking a look at the history of wine making, we go back in time to unearth more about the idea and dream of The Valle de Guadalupe.
➡️ How did the Valle de Guadalupe Start? Who were the some of the pioneers that created this special wine making region?
These are just some of the questions I got answered while filming this episode. Baja California produces nearly 70% of Mexico’s wine, and there are well over 100 wineries along the Ruta del Vino (wine route) in Valle de Guadalupe.
The amazing thing is that they are all established in the last 30 years.
➡️ There is an energy of innovation and excitement here. Its the very essence that makes the Valle so special.
The winemakers in the Valle are making their own rules, with creativity and dreams being their guide. Its exciting times in the Valle de Guadalupe and I am honored to tell their story.
Experimenting and making their own rules, watch our Valle de Guadalupe wine tour now and enjoy hearing the history of these influential winemakers.

🎥 Welcome to the official RUclips Channel of Beer, Wine & Spirits 🎥
Hi, I’m Jeff Bradford. My passion for beer, wine, and spirits ignited an urge to investigate the stories behind the labels. 🍾🍻
🌏 So, in 2018, I sold everything I owned to travel the world.
My objective: to learn the secrets of brewers, winemakers, and distillers.
From Switzerland to Jalisco, I set out to determine why their process yields extraordinary results.
With each stop on the map, I reveal time-honored traditions, cultural influences, and industry practices that help you discover the soul of these incredible products.
As a former member of the US military, I learn by doing.
You’ll see me harvesting grapes in South Africa, pouring beer at Oktoberfest, and chopping agave in Tequila. 🍷 🥃
➡️ My channel is dedicated to the passionate, hardworking people who make the beverages associated with our favorite celebrations, special events and amazing moments with those we love.
Join me as I find the next fascinating story about your favorite Beer, Wine, and Spirits.
Cheers!

Gustavo, thanks so much for the comment. It made my day🙏🙏. This was the goal from the start when making this series. To not compare it to Napa or any other region, just bring light to what the Valle is. Have fun and if you see any of the winemakers, tel them hello for me. Part 2 of this series is coming out April 7th. The terrior and what varietals grow in the Valle de Guadalupe. Salud!! -Jeff

I urge you to visit India and it's fledgling wine industry - a great story for you and a chance to attract a few hundred thousand subs as well! I will be happy to guide you around
Any wineries or people I should reach out to there?
@@drinkdestinations Sula is the biggest - I can help you with info as work in the industry
Send me a message please at jeffreybradford8@gmail.com would love to hear more information about it. Cheers, -Jeff
How was the taste of THE Californian-Mexican Wine Jeff???
Unlike anything I’ve tried before. The blends are amazing hear and the winemakers are creating some uniques blends for their wines. -Jeff
Hi I'm indian.wine.recpye.
Ésto es lo que producen los suelos y territorio Mexicanos 🇲🇽 para el mundo consumidor del buen vino
Out of curiosity - do you have an estimate of how large the tourism economy is in that region?
Thanks for the email and I believe Baja tourism will have a better answer then me. I know In 2017 the wine market revenue in the country of Mexico reached one and a half billion U.S. dollars. Roughly 70% of wine is produced in Baja.

If the climate do not change to much, this area will flourish.
Couldn’t agree more. I needs more rain, but I’m rooting for the Valle. Cheers, -Jeff
Nice video; however, if your focus is "history"- you left out many pioneers.
Thanks so much and for us it came down to timing as Santo Thomas couldn’t fit us in or some other names and wineries. Unfortunately I’m still new and building my reputation in the industry and was fortunate to get the names and wineries I did. -Jeff
@@drinkdestinations BajaTraveler® is here for you - in any future Baja endeavors... All my best!
@@TravelerPublications great to know. Thank you 🙏
I wonder if the Cartels are taking an interest?
Thought it was best to not ask this question at all. 😀😀😀
@@drinkdestinations Ha ha I can totally understand that :)
The cartels don't mess with those areas
