Great documentation of your route. I am curious as to why you chose Old Army vs. New Army Pass route? Hoping to day hike in the next several weeks or so! I think its 21 mile round trip via New Army Pass. I would love to see some Bighorn sheep and hope to jump into a lake or two to refresh my beat up body! Congrats!
Is what you showed a general summary of the scrambling/climbing required for the Old Army Pass route? I've read that Old Army had a nasty spot with a class3/4 move to get past; but what was in your video didn't look that bad; just some rough scrambling, and you are over. Of course, nothing is THAT easy at 13-14,000 feet altitude.....
Many thanks for a grand view of a great hike.
Beautiful hike. Thanks for showing us old Army. Glad we took new Army with packs on.

Great video! Congratulations to you all!!
Thank you!
From Cottonwood lakes 4 is there the option to take NAP? Great video!
Thanks! I think unfortunately that would take too much backtracking.
There is, just head south and you will run into New army pass trail.
