Missa in C, Spatzenmesse (Sparrow Mass), KV 220, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Dr. Stephanie Austin and the Contra Costa Singers rehearsed this Mozart Mass for concerts and a national tour that was postponed twice due to COVID 19. Dr. Austin and the singers decided that they needed to perform this project and created this video Spring 2021. Singers are featured throughout in a “sightseeing trip through Vienna.” The audio and videos were recorded at home, and the mass was masterfully assembled by Bill Hare Productions and Rhys Ludlow Media.

I will be singing this in a concert tomorrow (in the tenor section of the choir), and this version is the one that I have found best to sing along with for my practice at home. It's great to have a small choir and orchestra, so that the sounds of all the parts come through so clearly.

May be, but with so few available recordings to compare with, the only other live recording I can find is by the Cologne Cathedral choir and from memory that is 18 minutes. What time span did Mozart set?

@@artfuldodger4850 maybe like this recording. As far as I know Mozart was played way too slow the last decades; this is still the expectation of a lot of listeners. 🙁
