So, we caught up with Blomkamp at gamescom 2023 to find out more about this satirical cyberpunk shooter that puts a 60-hour narrative campaign right in the middle of a 150-player battle royale.

sort of, from the IGN article about it: "Off The Grid (OTG), will incorporate an NFT platform called GunZ. GunZ will utilize blockchain technology for in-game item trading" basically sounds to me like it is going to be like the CSGO system of trade

Also, it does beg the question: Why does it need to be NFTs if CSGO can do it without them? And why do they have a platform when they can use the Steam marketplace? Not mentioning the CSGO system is already pretty egregious, to begin with.
It needs to be because the Venture Capital overlords desire so. How else would you utilize players to earn back the $70M of investment?

This is normal, games often show performance issues in early builds. Things like this mostly get ironed out by realise with competitive shooters.
