They sound almost the same but to me the Mini is more polite. I prefer the large one, which is a prized possession of mine and the source of all my tones.
I have both and can say although they are similar the larger one does sound better and for what it is worth, If you are able to pick up a larger version...It is very easy to buy a "MXR" sized empty enclosure and drill the five holes (in/out Vol/Fuzz and on/off) and you'll have the best of both worlds....(Better tone AND pedalboard friendly sized too.
TBH I 100% agree. Any perceived differences I chalk up to a combination of potentiometer tolerances and "bigger looks more vintage so it's definitely better"

They did a real fine job with the mini -its absolutely awesome. Just like the big one.
With humbuckers the mini sounds more gated to my ear. That’s just one guy’s opinion, take it for what you will.

It doesn't make no difference the circuit on the big one is a waist is the same on both samething...
The fuzz knob on a fuzzface should never go past 8 on the Dail (3o'klock)... unless you want it to sound broken...
Google the word ‘subjective’ lol
