Unbelievable 1971 rock and roll! I have the LP and record. I wish Ritchie Wise would have continued playing guitar. Marky Ramone was like 15 or 16 years old. But what a drummer!!
BOTH albums from DUST have been remastered and will be re-released in April, 2013 from SONY/Legacy. CD will have a new cover and a booklet. Vinyl will be original covers-both records in one package. Sounds amazing. Tell everyone. APRIL 20th release date.
heard this a few days ago and went out and bought the re-issue shortly after! thanks for turning me onto this! am only 22 and this speaks more to me than any music put out on the top 40 or even modern independent scene today! thanks for posting!
nice pre-delay on the drum verb... Kama Sutra records always sounded awesome for the time! probably the best mastered rock of the era. Brewer & Shipley records always sounded great... everyone on the label CDB... etc
This is a seriously accurate compliment. I played this on my surround system. It sounds great in both vinyl and digital file, but the digital file is GORGEOUS.
@MrNipperthedog Because K-She 95 via Mark Close promoted the hell out of this band! I'm from St. Louis. Still have my older brother's original LP from '72.
Fantastic track, from a classic release.Thank you as well for posting this true audiophonic gem!Neat slide show presentation as well, though found the bass slightly muffled, this recording does not do the bass on this track justice here.I have this on Performance Records 1971 release,in near mint condition.Would recommend purchasing the Repitiore Records CD Release,as really do need to listen to this band through a turntable or CD player at least!Thank You again for putting Dust out here on RUclips
@NewPaltzIndie i'm 21 going 22 in two month.... i could say the same thing as you... except that i'm from argentina and i haven't hope to find this in any store hahaha, cheers
The beginning of this song always reminded me of Mississippi Queen

Early American Heavy Metal. Marky Ramone is a great Drummer. Another great band from NYC is Riot still going strong after 30 something years too.
i´m 55 and i never heard this before,i´m from Mexico ,and i guess i was kinda busy listening to Black Sabath and Deep Purple.!! This is amazing!
YES!! More than just,” From A Dry Camel” Positively Broom stick flying with crooked back shadows moon and light light light through the Birmingham…
Marc Bell! 🥁👍
Esse som é grandioso mesmo 42 anos depois de lançado, grande banda de rock, merece um lugar de destaque na história do Hard rock setentista.
dust was a real great band...i liked their records....

Better than a lot of much more famous bands.
Cool song. Bit of a 'Mississippi Queen' vibe to it.
WOW I'm 22 too and love the underground hardrock songs!

so awesome. i only knew hard attack and just discovered this one. i'm in love!
I wish they would play more underground stuff like this on KSHE 95 now. All i hear is the same classic rock they play a million times.
This shit rocks! I love it.

THE INTRO SOUNDS LIKE MISSISSIPPI QUEEN DONT YOU THINK? I LOVE THIS BAND THOUGH
It is the same freaking riff, thought the same thing right away.
Why they ended only on 2 albums ?!? WTF !?! They had BIG potential :(
These guys could compete with any group.

@ Kenny..... Any chance for a DUST re-union tour? We'd LOVE to see it happen on the east coast, NY/NJ area! ~THANKS!!!
Lots of stage volume through the amps and a PA system. Not the fake crap like today
