Another excellent video guys, the filming and drone footage is great. Really enjoyed watching! Cheers Steve
Hi Steve, great to hear you enjoyed the video and Em did a fantastic job of flying the drone from the pillion seat 😎.
Thanks for your support and we appreciate your positive comment 😀🙌🏻
Really enjoying the series, impressed with drone work, great scenery and informative commentary
Thanks very much! We are really glad the weather was good enough to get the drone up as often as we could, the views from above are spectacular and really give a good sense of size. Thanks very much for your comment and it's great to hear you are enjoying the series. 😎👍
Man, the drone shots are amazing
Thanks very much Hans -we were very happy with how they came out here so appreciate your comment 😊
The cinematography in this is simply epic. The drone footage of the coast, set in perfect time to the dramatic music overlaying the cliff sequences, shows incredible skill. What a talent you have!
I really do enjoy your videos. They are a masterclass on how a RUclips channel should be produced. Looking forward to more! :-)
Thank you so much Gary for your kind words of encouragement! A lot of time and effort goes into both filming, editing and music selection so we really appreciate you recognising that!
Plenty more videos on the way! Thanks again for your comment! 😎👍
@@SeanandEmily thanks for replying 🙂 I also like the fact that anyone of any age can watch your channel. There's no swearing or dodgy content, unlike so many other channels. Moreover, you make an effort to explain the history or significance of the places that you visit, which makes your channel informative and inspiring 👍 After Sean's comment about the geology of the cliffs at Moher, I went on to do some geological research on the area. It's fascinating 👍
Thanks Gary, yeah it's nice that everyone can enjoy them. Had people say they watch them with the grandchildren which is nice.
We do our best to get some info on the places we visit although when we go to so many places in a day it can get difficult 😁.
Thanks again and we look forwards to hearing your thoughts on the videos to come 😊
That drone footage is amazing 😃🍻
Thanks very much Dave! 😎👍
Excellent set up with the Bike, and especially good sound while you're riding along. Great camera work too..
Thanks very much! Really appreciate your encouraging words 😊. We hope you enjoy the rest of the Heading West Playlist 👍

Exceptionally good content & videography, informative narratives & outstanding tours. Well done again! Impossible to put this one into words.
I was stunned for the majority of this one, especially when the drone took over and conveyed the greater perspectives. Huge thanks!! 🍹🍺
Thanks very much! We really appreciate your enthusiasm for the videos 😊
The cliffs on this tour have been amazing, I think already in this playlist we have visited 3-4 amazing cliff locations…..hard to decide on a favourite, there’s some on the way too 😁
Thanks again for your comment and we look forwards to hearing your thoughts on the rest of the trip 😎🙌🏻
the rocky bleak area you rode through between the cliffs and reaching Glaway is known as the "Burren" - The Burren is internationally famous for its rocky landscape, unusual combination of flora, thousands of archaeological sites and unique farming traditions. Because of these unusual features, most of the Burren is designated by the European Union as a Special Area of Conservation. - taken straight from google
Thanks for the Information Hugh! It was a great way to finish off the days ride and spectacular scenery 😎👍
@@SeanandEmily all good, great videos, really enjoying them - you guys are making our little country look stunning!
Thanks very much! Always great when locals are happy with how we showcase their country 😉
Also where “Fr. Ted” was filmed. The exterior shots.
The cliffs are very impressive. Beautifull drone shots. It gives me a good impression of Ireland. 😎👍
Hi Ruud, thanks very much! Hopefully by the end of this tour you will know Ireland well 😊👍🏻
It’s such a joy to follow your trips in Europe. Amazing sceneries and editing is top notch 👌
Thanks so much! Great to hear you appreciate the editing -hours and hours of editing well spent 😁
Hope you enjoy the rest of the series 😎🙌🏻
So glad to see you went straight into the car park, its an unreal rip off for parking and yes, you where far too honest lolz
Another few inches and those bollards would have kept GS riders out lol
haha yeah too long living in Switzerland meant we thought that we would get a fine or something lol - funny the lady thought it was hilarious that we had come to tell her and just gave us free tickets 🤣🤣
❤
Thanks 😎👍
More stunning photography- Many Thanks.
Thanks for your comment and glad you liked it 😎🙌🏻
The two of you are such an inspiration. Cannot wait to get travelling again. Thank you for another amazing episode. 😊
Ahhhh thanks Johan and you’re em very welcome. We recorded some of Switzerland today and found ourselves looking for camping spots for your camper van 🤣
@@SeanandEmily It's all painted with Raptor bedliner paint. Looks really good.
Just put a pin and i will do my best to keep up 😂
That's cool!! That stuff looks great!! ....they should have painted the new GS with it!
The shots from above are especially impressive.
A little sun would have been nice. :). Ireland's rugged landscape is truly worth seeing
if it's not raining we consider that great weather 😂 Yeah the cliffs are spectacular -especially form the sky. We have really enjoyed exploring the coastline of Ireland!
Nice Irish Shadow Ride" I have collected a few patches on trips also, it's Cool"
Thanks! Shadow loved Ireland 😊
Right! Patches are cool!!! Thanks for the encouragement to get more 😁
Welcome to my County Galway, our English friends, and immediate neighbours. For strangers, you are doing very well.❤
Hi Tony, thanks for the kind welcome! What a lovely place you live, we have had the best of times touring the beautiful country of Ireland. SO many amazing landscapes and friendly people.
You missed the flying boat museum at Foynes....but the cliffs were amazing!
Maybe one for next time 😉
Drone footage at the cliffs was amazing - presented views that we’ve never seen previously. Love this part of Clare and are privileged to have a holiday home close to Spanish Point. You passed one of our favourite coffee stops as you approached the car park - Moher Cottage. You’d have loved their fudge and the view of area from their outdoor seating terrace. The rocky area you rode through before you reached Ballyvaughan was part of The Burren. I hope Emma didn’t lead you astray in Galway.
Hi Brian, thanks very much -really happy to share it with you 😊. That's a great place to have a holiday home, must be a relaxing place to go to. Yes we saw that coffee place and would have stopped if we had got there earlier....next time then 😊
Hehe think Emily was too tired to go out partying lol
Been on that ferry over the river Shannon onto the Cliffs and Galway.
We love a little ferry, this one was a welcomed short break 😊
As for sea sickness. I worked on boats in the past and eating is essential for not to get seasick. If however looking outside and having food in your belly don't work, lay down on your back. Stay away from smokers, exhaust and other strong smells, like a perfumes etc. 😊 Good luck with sea voyages in the future.
Thanks for the tips! Much appreciated 😊 looking at the horizon does help and as you say staying away from smells is a great idea. Hopefully more sea voyages will help for sure 😊
💗💗💗
Popular attraction but spectacular too 😎
I saw today 😂😂 amazing place!!! Second time 😊
Oh nice! Hope you had good weather too 😊 it’s a great place and the cliffs are spectacular! 😎🙌🏻
@@SeanandEmily every morning raining...but in the afternoon appears an amazing landscape...no more rain ..
@rossanoripamonti9302 nice one, sometimes it’s even more atmospheric with some weather! 😎👍🏻
We love Clare but usually avoid Cliffs of Moher because it is so busy.
Yeah we can see why, we had to see them at least once 😊 but fortunately there’s countless other amazing cliffs to enjoy in the region 😊🇮🇪
Excellent natural video with stunning views and great photography. I am off on a little tour of Ireland on Friday. You mentioned the GPX Routes of Ireland are available to Download in the comments but I cannot see where. Can you point me in the right direction or send me a link please. Many thanks.
Hi Frank, thanks very much and great to hear you enjoyed it. That sounds like a nice trip, hope you have a great time.
Our apologies, looks like we forgot to put the link on this one. It should be there now in the comment section pinned to the top.
You will also find the route to each of the episodes pinned in the comments throughout the series.
You can only download the GPX files with the full version of calimoto but there is a free trail code there too otherwise you can just note down the points and create your own map.
😎👍
That rocky area you skirted past in Co.Clare is the world famous Burren. You could have stopped off at Trump Doonbeg!😄
That centre square in Galway (Eyre Square) is pronounced 'air' square. Food looked great!
Nice video.
The Burren was really impressive, was a great way to finish the days ride off with. Haha not sure if we would have made it past security 😂.
Thanks, food was great -just what we needed!
Persuaded to avoid the Cliffs of Moher ‘too commercial’ but recommended the cliffs of Slieve Teague. Unfortunately a bus broke down on the way up and I saw neither🥲next time. Remember the ferry though but I was going south not north, it’s a spectacular coastline and I love Galway….
Hi Ian, Yeah they did get a bit busy there! We also go to Slieve Teague and it was also spectacular -it wasn't very busy so we were able to pay 5 euro and ride all the way to the top! Can imagine Galway is a fun place -we were far too tired to have a night out there lol.
@@SeanandEmily Your videos have brought up some great memories, can’t beat a road trip👍
While the Cliffs of Moher are stunning its very over commercialised, sadly that detracts from Irelands beautiful rugged coastline. We stopped at Kilkee Cliffs a little further down and was just as nice, if not better, as there were no crowds of tourists
Yeah the cliffs of Moher are a must see but we agree there are plenty of other spectacular cliffs about as you will see in the proceeding episodes 👍
Please tell me you went to Doolin Co.Clare . World Renowned for Irish Traditional Music and Great Food. If you missed it......Turn Back !!!😂
It’s impossible to cover everything on a short bike journey but Sean and Emma have done what’s possible in their timeframe. The Wild Atlantic Way is 10 years old in 2024 and has improved facilities dramatically for tourists in that time. Anthony’s restaurant in Doolin is worth trying.
Sounds a great place -maybe next time 😉 -we had 8500km to cover in 4 weeks on this trip.
€12 aint bad :P
Which is what we say when we ride off the boat
You travelled through one of the oldest, largest limestone ecosystems in Europe without knowing it. The Burren.
Thank you for pointing that out! Yes, isn’t travel and exploration amazing as you get to discover things as you go, experiencing them as you find them!
It would be €uro £23=GBP£20
That’s some quick maths 😉
Oh , so they have the € as their currency 💷 in Ireland 🫣
Yes that's right Ake, Euros in Ireland and the British Pound in Northern Ireland.
Its euros in Ireland , cheaper than pounds
It sure is 👍🏻
