I love the part about feeling the energy of the fabric, and what story they tell together! Next time I'm matching fabrics, I'm going to compose a story❤️ Thank you for this video!!

It was really interesting to have a peek into your process as a small business owner! You got some beautiful fabrics from your thrifting adventures in this vid; the pink flowery fairy garden fabric is my fave, it gives me such 90s vibes; also the purple space themed fabric is amazing! I'd love to see a video of you making a wedding gown with those gorgeous lacy fabrics

Hi Carly 💗 What a fun video! I love all your videos but this might be my favorite. Loved seeing behind the scenes of your business - really inspires me to get going on a biz of my own! Also loved hearing about your process of finding fabrics and combining ones that are “friends”! Such a sweet method - I’m going to try that out! Thank you for all the tips you share🌷
I’d love to learn how you make different types of puff sleeves and how you figure out overall dress sizing. 🦋 I find both kinda tricky. 🙃
I’m about to start making a gardening/Winnie the Pooh themed quilted vest for my aunt’s bday! 🥰

Aw :') Thank you Ellen! This is so nice. Ooooh good luck if you ever decide to open your own business - it is such a fun thing to do!
hehehe let me know how you go! Sometimes just focussing on finding 'friends' in fabric choices can take the pressure off deciding fabrics & it just lets your inner child play!
That sounds INCREDIBLE! Please update on quilted vest - I'm already so excited for your project!

Another lovely video 😍 for some reason I have been limiting myself to buying 100% cotton sheets for sewing but after this I think I'm going to explore other materials. Curtain is such a fun idea 😍
At the moment I'm sewing bags. I don't see to have much endurance for bigger projects and I love finding colours that go together for the bags. And if the colours are too crazy, it's just a bag 🤩
Looking forward to your next video x

Thank you so much! I mean 100% is super ideal - I often find myself looking for that label too. But there are SO many other fun textiles to play with too! I just started working with furnishings for pants & jackets & that has been awesome as well.
Bags! I love it! It sounds like you're having a lot of fun which is amazing!

Hi Carly! Thanks for sharing your process! It was very inspiring to watch!!! And congrats on your fresh YT channel! Meanwhile, I've noticed that you're using sticky tape to attach your labels... I used to do the same until I discovered half-sheet self-adhesive shipping labels. Just wanted to share it with you as they literally saved my life and time :)

Hey Carly - instead of overlocking - would the zig zag or another hack work? I've seen in another YT video that when she cut the design out of her squares, some of the stitching came a part - but maybe that was because she hadn't overlocked it/done anything with the seams...??
