I live just a little over an hour from there up here in the mountains and commute to Atlanta every day for work and have never been to the sun dial. Somebody would have to beat me and hold me at gun point to go to Atlanta on my day off. But thanks for the trip, I might have to check it out in person one day.

You make great videos and no doubt, your music is on point! Music is a big part of these videos where you’re only using music while showing the sights. Thanks for sharing all these videos so we know what’s available to do on our time off. I’m a fan! Great job!

Matt and Jeff Yeah. I’ve heard some really great things about the Sony cameras .. they’ve really come a long way... as far as shooting thru the window I guess shooting from the ground up outside would be a great shot.. living in Charleston SC not many high rise buildings to shoot here.. yet.. but that’s my thing being an architectural photographer.... kind of drawn to it.. :)...

That's awesome and high ! When I was a boy, in the late 70's, on vacation with my mom, dad and younger sister, we had lunch or dinner there (Downtown Atlanta) in a restaurant, high up (not 700' though) where the outer dining area slowly and continuously rotated 360 degrees around while you ate giving a spectacular view of the city around and below. As a kid, that was So Cool and an unforgettable experience I'm still fond of to this day. Just called dad about it and he said he thinks it was on top of the Peachtree Hotel. I'm curious if it still exists. You guys are living it up.

Hey Jeff, it's a little lat but, Welcome to Atlanta. The Peachtree Plaza brings back fond memories. My dad was the superintendent in charge of the tower construction on the evening shift. My two brothers helped to set and remove the concrete forms during construction. This project has been the subject of conversation at many family get-togethers. I was in High School at the time but I did get to visit the job site many times during Construction. It was a bit unnerving to be able to walk right up to the edge of the building without any windows. I'm now in my 35th year as a carpenter in Atlanta and have worked in many of the high-rises that you see here. BTW, I don't know if you were aware of this or not, but Peachtree Street that runs in front of the hotel is actually the Gulf-Atlantic divide. All the water that drains to the west of the street makes its way to the Chattahoochee River then out to the Gulf of Mexico. All the water that flows off of Peachtree Street to the east drains to the Atlantic Ocean. Take care and be careful.
