The issue is not just the teacher's lack; rather, it is the unwelcoming living conditions in such places. I say this because I have personally experienced it; the leaders are to fault for the severe lack of electricity, water, and a decent road system. Because of our leaders, Northeastern education lags significantly behind.
Many thanks for this kind of coverage, Citizen TV.

One of the best education improvement decision in the region. Please sponsor and give incentives to your children to become teachers. They will stay there, come sunshine come rain. An outsider will always look for pretex to leave the area once they secure employment letter and confirmation of permanent employment

It's good, question, how are considered? Is garisa college not a government collage? Is it mps & community leaders who admit students at garisa ttc? If that's the case let all teachers training colleges be owned by locals where it's located, this north eastern areas behaving like not part of kenya.why should other Kenyans be placed by kuccps? After graduation will they be employed by TSC? DON'T we have Ijara people working in other parts of Kenya? If they want isolation and don't want other Kenyans to work there, let all their people go back and work there, you create hostile environment at your areas but enjoy conducive environment in other parts of Kenya, back and go to Ijara from other parts of Kenya
