Some of the best teaching I've seen on RUclips. I've been an English teacher in China for 7.5 years. I own a training center that trains elite students. Before coming here, I owned a very successful private school in America. I sold the school and retired. For 8 years, I was an international spokesperson for the most famous language software development company in America.
I can tell that this method that Yi uses is the RIGHT method for effective learning of any language. I use this method to send kids from Henan to Ivy League colleges in America. However, I've learned how to improve what I do from Yi Zhao. Thank you, Yi Zhao!! 非常感谢!I really like the way you break it down into smaller chunks, most common verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs, and how you introduce each one at a time. If everyone learns those chunks, then, they can automatically understand and speak a lot of things. Great job!!!

If you've been involved with languages all your life, you should know that "spokesperson" is ugly, ambiguous, bad, and bad-sounding.

This is one of the best methods: high repetition of phrases and words used most frequently in the target language. However, there is another method that is even better that you can use in combination with this - “comprehensible storytelling,” putting all those words and phrases in context.
I don’t have any language school or teaching experience, but I have learned to speak fluently in four languages mainly using these two methods applied to listening, reading, and speaking.
Nevertheless, the content that you expose yourself to ideally should be 90% or more comprehensible in order to achieve full immersion in intensive listening and reading.

You can check out the channels of Stephen Kaufman and AJ Hog.
Stephen Kaufman is a polyglot who applies the language learning methods mentioned before. He also has his own learning app and website called LingQ.
AJ Hog is an American teacher who, in my opinion, successfully applies similar methods based on language acquisition theories, particularly those of the famous linguist Stephen Krashen.
As mentioned, I have applied similar methods myself to learn to speak fluently there languages so far (in addition to my native language,) and I hope to achieve similar results with Chinese as well.

Would love it if there was a feasible and economical way for you to produce a work book that can be used to follow along better with the video lessons. I use the videos to listen at the pronouncing of the pinyin, and would use the work book to write the characters and for quick reference.

one of the good videos with simple examples. feichang ganxie Yi Zhao. Your explanation makes Chinese seems to be lot more easier to be learnt.

Moving to Australia and meeting huge Chinese students, I became in love with the language. It is fascinating and interesting to speak. I found your lessons and teachings very precious, great work and kind person, be blessed.

I watch your videos almost every day, they have been such a great help to grasp more of the Language. I had bought a very good book to learn Chinese, but the videos are a powerful aid to increase different skills in real time. The explanations are clear and you help us with Cultural issues. Your vocation as a teacher is clear, thank you! 谢谢你! Gracias!
