However, I've learned how to improve what I do from Yi Zhao. Thank you, Yi Zhao!! 非常感谢！I really like the way you break it down into smaller chunks, most common verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs, and how you introduce each one at a time. If everyone learns those chunks, then, they can automatically understand and speak a lot of things. Great job!!!
This is one of the best methods: high repetition of phrases and words used most frequently in the target language. However, there is another method that is even better that you can use in combination with this - “comprehensible storytelling,” putting all those words and phrases in context. I don’t have any language school or teaching experience, but I have learned to speak fluently in four languages mainly using these two methods applied to listening, reading, and speaking. Nevertheless, the content that you expose yourself to ideally should be 90% or more comprehensible in order to achieve full immersion in intensive listening and reading.
You can check out the channels of Stephen Kaufman and AJ Hog. Stephen Kaufman is a polyglot who applies the language learning methods mentioned before. He also has his own learning app and website called LingQ. AJ Hog is an American teacher who, in my opinion, successfully applies similar methods based on language acquisition theories, particularly those of the famous linguist Stephen Krashen. As mentioned, I have applied similar methods myself to learn to speak fluently there languages so far (in addition to my native language,) and I hope to achieve similar results with Chinese as well.
