When you say “record breaking game” it implies he broke a single game record, not that his season total happened to surpass the record during that game.
Ladd McConkey reminds me of Julian Edelman. Ladd has better speed and is 2” taller but just like Brady always knew where Edelman was going to be so does Herbert know where Ladd will be. Ladd is very dependable especially for a rookie.
We passed over McConkey to get Poke. Elliott Wolf went DEI the entire draft. There was definitely a “theme“ to the 2024 Patriot selections. Robert Kraft threw in a head coach to keep the experiment alive. Well, it all failed.
I don’t know how anyone could pass on drafting him. He has great speed, runs crisp routes, has excellent balance and quick change of direction and he’s really good at getting separation. Unless a team already has someone with all of those qualities I can’t see how they could pass on him.

I'm sure teams will draft more white skill players if they're good enough! Professional sports is one of the only truly meritocratic employers. The economics demand that the best possible talent must be chosen. The colour profile of players is a direct reflection of the talent available in each position
