the dgd experience is so diverse thats what kept me hooked for sure. instrumentals to clean and dirty vocals, just harmonized perfectly

I was introduce to post hardcore 2009. I got hooked on so many bands, but man, it's DGD that got me up until now. Jonny Craig era is my favorite although just slight points higher to Kurt and Tellian.

Spooks is SUPER TRICKY! Only reason it wasn't in the video is because there isn't 1 specific riff. It just goes hard the whole time!

Awesome video wow!!! I see son of robot didn’t make the cut due to god tier level haha. Some of the middle ones are red level for me, and some of the reds are way easier for me- but I like the difficulty factoring in the amount of techniques and positions.
These videos are tricky because it’s different for everyone but amount of techniques, positions, tempo:note duration, time sig/tempo changes all play into my ranking. And some really hard songs don’t get included because they might not have a definitive riff despite being a super tricky one to play all the way through.
I learned Betrayed By the Game not to long ago. Never would have expected it to be one of the tops songs as "difficult" but it was so fun to learn that's probably why it seemed so easy. Will is just a genius on bringing out the best in you.
I picked it up pretty quick too but those chord shapes then quickly changing to tapping can be tricky to do clean.

Great video! Shows how little I know about guitar playing that I thought some of the earlier riffs looked harder than the middle levels haha.
There’s a band called Ling Tosite Sigure who I think you’d have a lot of fun doing this sort of run with. Honestly one of the greatest, most unique guitarists around for my money.
Sometimes riffs sound a lot harder than they are for sure! 😂 and never heard of them but I’m stoked to check them out!
