Aside from the other members, Jin's story is always interesting for me. Imagine having no experience in singing and dancing at all... but they wanted you to be an idol lol. He was a theatre student so he literally had so much experience in acting to become an amazing actor. But his improvements are undeniably amazing. Actually Yoongi (Suga) started writing music and rapping since 13 years old. He started learning production around the same age while was working in a record studio. At 17 he started professionaly producing songs for rappers from undeground hip hop scene and got recognition. And yes, he went through a lot to have an opportunity to create music. BTS' growth is organic and everyone was a witness to it. Bighit(BTS' Label) had no connections to the media or broadcasting companies to promote BTS before and they were often uninvited to some variety shows, they were invited to some though they were mistreated and disrespected just because their company wasn't that big, so they had to rely on Social media because the Korean media (TV broadcasting companies) is dominated by big conglomerates that are connected to the BIG3 agencies. In 2015, BTS outsold some artists of the big3 agencies, yet no article was published about it (Naver the biggest search engine in Korea is actually an investor of one of the big3 agency). The only thing that people in Korea knew about BTS was when they became so big that even the media who are controlled by elite companies no longer can conceal the numbers and influence of BTS. Now every broadcasting stating are hungry and begging for BTS to guest on their shows, they are treated as natural treasures.

In an RM's interview over his first mixtape (interview can be found on btsdiary), RM does state that BTS were originally supposed to be like 1TYM, a Korean hip-hop group (this was b4 switching to become an idol group). I don't know of any sources that states this is exactly why and how Bang was inspired to specifically create a hiphop group in the first place though. But he has stated multiple times that he changed his mind to debut them as an idol group bc idol groups are more profitable (aka they tend to be more popular and have multiple areas to garner revenue). So, he wanted the group to keep a core value of being passionate about music, but he also wanted them to be more likely to be successful too. Actually, the video gets some info wrong, especially with the ages (JK was 13/14 when auditioning for SuperStar K and entered into Bighit in the same year--so, he was with BTS for his middle school graduation too and they have a pre-debut song about his middle school graduation,--and Yoongi was already producing b4 coming to Bighit, but was getting scammed out of his songs, and then he went to Seoul). It also doesn't talk about how Hobi actually entered an audition competition with JYP and while he never won or became a trainee with JYL, he did win a popularity award in it, which gave him a chance to get a full ride to a school in Seoul, but he didn't accept it and went back home. He later auditioned and entered Bighit instead. It also doesn't talk about BTS' initial lineup as a hiphop group, which Yoongi signed up for (when Bang promised him that he didn't have to dance much). So, when Bang changed his mind to make an idol group, most of the trainees decided to leave, but RM, Suga, and Hobi decided to stay. While it sort of alluded to it, Jin did go into Bighit as an actor, so he was there b4 Jungkook, but Jungkook signed onto Bighit before Jin (they talk about it in an early vlive with Jimin--the infamous "Stob it!" vlive).

Get interested in them first so you naturally want to learn about them. And that way you can always be surprised like "wow suga produced the song?" Or "jimin went to dance school?" You're approach is too academic on some study before a test shit.
Fun fact #2: Every fanbase has an asshole. Not all bts fans are friendly. Hi..I'm the asshole.
Thanks for supporting me on this @Elina 💜. I do believe that our BTS journeys could be different and the order we follow their development. But we are all ARMYs in the end of the day.
Aw, I can clearly see that you love arguing and I have no time for this 😊.
i actually kind of turn off by some of the way u reacting, its not that totally bad but i dont think u get the whole message/story that this video trying to tell, well at least u get 60/70% of it tho, by the way best of luck on ur next bts vids. have a nice day
Thanks for your input 💜. It could be that I have missed some of the details, it’s lots of information to process at once, at least for me. It wasn’t intentional. I tried to comprehend as much as I could.
I get what you're saying, me too
Thanks for your understanding 💜.
I think make it right was not written by edsheeren but produced by edsheeren
It is possible, I will verify that 😊.
No, it was written by Ed Sheeran. Idk why armys have so many problems in reading credits, but Ed wrote it.
Thanks for confirming this 💜🤗. Ed Sheeran is an amazing artist, I’m glad he collaborated with BTS.
Edsheeren is amazing
