It's him telling his sons a legend passed down in their family as kids that happens to parallel their story as adults. That's where the "Real life is not like the stories our father told us" line comes from at the end.
Fun fact Hanzo is actually a better swordsman than Genji but after Hanzo "killed" Genji he promised that he will never use sword again and he choose to fight with a bow

This short never fails to give me chills by the end. Honestly surprised they never made a show based off this kinda of animation, it would’ve worked so well!! Love the relationship these two have in game as seen through their voicelines, it makes their relationship feel real and leaves an impact on us players. An absolute masterpiece is all I have to say about this and i feel most people would agree with me.

If you do wanna try the game they got quickplay most don't take that mode serious and arcade they got alot of modes. Comp is the only one that is the serious mode everyone plays in.
btw if u did not know hanzo is even better then genji with a sword lol but the day he stuck down genji he swore to never weild a sword again even with him alive he wont do it.
I can uderstand both sides While knowing how much it hurts to hold and how freeing it is to know you commited a mistake but truly repents and is willing to change. The other side feels infuriated, it constantly says 'and they will just get away with it? They are getting away with all they have done without as much as at least paying a bit?!! That is ultrageous!!! They must pay!!!'. I want to forgive but the wound inflicted demands justice.

competitive is sweaty but quickplay is more casual, you get the odd sweaty players but i would suggest playing quickplay if u want casual gaming
