She is sooo beautiful 😍 what is helping paws? And why she wasn’t staying with them? Im assuming she was working at becoming some type of therapy dog in training?
Thank you! Ivy was in the advanced stage of her training to become a service dog. Helping Paws was the training program she was part of. The organization decided that she was better fit as a family pet due to anxiety in public, so they asked me to adopt her!
the collar I bought for her was too big and they ended up giving me a collar so I had both on when she first got home. She only uses one collar now or a harness. typically the dogs in the program train with two collars so she was used to having both anyways.
@@gamergate2.0andbooks I already switched her food, but thank you for the suggestion. I have done a lot of research over the years and I knew I didn’t want to keep her on that, but I had to transition her over to the new food
