- With Deep Rock Galactic's 5 dropping soon with it comes new content. Some of that content is a whole new collection of overclocks in Deep Rock Galactic. So to prepare for Season 5 we set out to collect as many blank cores as possible to prepare for the new season. What could possibly go wrong?

replace as many sounds in game with the dumbest sounds you can manage to find. My first recommendation is the cave leech mod that has a picture of a black cat that looks like it's contemplating existence.

I like the one that says "ayo the pizza here" when a resupply pod arrives. Also the one that replaces the power attack impact sfx with the bonk sound effect.

@@MesurDrogon-vh8jk Hazard 1 but the amount of bugs spawned is 64x more (probably hard capped at 128 at the same time but it is still a lot)

It hurts my souls seeing Volitile Impact Reactor and Explosive Chemical Rounds sitting there unforged when they are 2 of the most OP OC in the game.

I spent 1200 hours before I even _touched_ 6x2. So you’re a braver dwarf than I for taking on the challenge. Best of luck and Rock and Stone!
Bad idea: When season 5 comes out, do a hazard 5+ with all 4 parameters set to max (max enemy numbers, enemy health, enemy speed and aggression, and player damage taken).
And do it on one of those missions with 2 red modifiers.

@@DrDevvi How does regen bugs + elite threat sound? Especially if you get an elite menace (with boosted health), an elite bulk or an elite grabber.
Or mactera plague + swarmageddon.
Or rival precense + low oxygen on an aquark mission.
Or shield disruption + ebonite infestation.
Or exploder infestation + swarmageddon on elimination or sabotage (because both the exploders and swarmers will keep spawning during a dread or caretaker fight despite other bugs being spawn restricted).
Or my favorite: shield disruption + lethal enemies/elite threat/duck and cover on a salvage mission.
One thing I would love to see you do on twitch is somehow let chat spawn in mobs during your mission. That would be an extremely fun stream.
There is a mod for that. I have it set up just haven't done a stream trying it out yet

You know how the lithofoamer does the miniscule of damage? Well... You'll do a haz 5 lithophage, where you are not allowed to use any weapons aside from the lithofoamer. Nades and C4 forbidden too. Oh and if it could be a Caretaker as well for extra spice thx. (That's never gonna happen is ok😅)

Total Blackout Challenge: No flare guns, no flares and no headlamps. You may only use light provided by the mission, your weapons and the cave.
Unbind your 'Throw Flares' key and turn off headlamps by holding F in the beginning of the mission.
if you want to make it harder you can also turn off your HUD.
The game is already too dark... RIP
I feel like no headlamp would just make it impossible but with headlamp I think it'd be even scarier, it's like a horror game with a 4$ headlamp you got from walmart
You should try and use the rj250 compound overclock for engineers grenade luncher

You should time the moment between drinking blackout stout and passing out from it and enter the droppod starting the mission so you get blackout drunk for the entire mission i guess. I did it once accidentally and there should be video guides for it i hope

smol challenge, do a mission where you can only use the most self destructive weapon can get, like modded fat boy or modded c4 for driller. then do it on escort duty.

my stupid Idea for the engineer, DRG needs to do is this,,,, make the Turrets into flying drones which follows you around blasting enemies, when u reload your weapons the drones get reloaded aswell. with overcloaks you can make the Drones/turrets able to fire electrical charges, plasma or highexplosive rockets.
I would highly reccomd the rj250 compound with incendiary shells for incredible horde control

Melee builds with the weapons being used only in longer ranges or movement/just use the melee build
Plus for once as an added bonus you would actually be able to kill cave leeches after you get grabbed alone
You should make the others load out, and compete to see who can complete a solo haz five mission first.

When season 5 drops try a mission with the new Blood sugar mutation on Haz 1. The low spawn rate might actually make it harder because there is almost nothing to kill to regen health with. Could do a Haz 5 one with the same mutation after to compare difficulty.
P.S. please try Explosive Chemical Rounds for the Lok-1 it's one of the best overclocks for that weapon and the sole reason I use the lok-1.
I recommend 23111 build for it.
The only other overclock I use on Lok-1 is executioner but only on elimination mission with a 13112 build.
