Jakarta commuter rail trainsets is by far the longest urban train in Southeast Asia with mostly operates 10-car trainsets, sometimes less 8-car, sometimes longer 10-car. But still in average, mostly 10-car. It sure looks very long and it is heavy rail system, not just light rail or metro standards.
@@Natadangsa yup, even in Tangerang line, the 12-car trainsets are often deployed as well. Each car has at least 4 doors for each side. Even in some trainsets there are high density cars with mostly standing passengers with folded seat with 6 doors for each side.
@@sandechoir maju pesat gimana, kereta antar provinsi saja mereka gak punya. Dikita loh, sudah 7.000 km lebih bahkan sudah berhasil membangun jaringan kereta api di Sulawesi walaupun baru 120 km an. Ditambah kereta cepat Jakarta-Bandung yg 143 km, dan reaktivasi jalur² lama yg sempat mati. Jauuuh banget bro dibandingkan Indonesia, kita termasuk top score di Asean masalah kereta api

Time passed but the Dutch thought it was a waste of time and money to change their colony's rail system to follow the mainland. SP1900 and the MLR of HK, ever heard of that? they are 12 car long as well. They are also bullt (at least the MLR) to Urban standards
