I run the traditional clip as well but I did opt for all the options that way if I ever get a wild hair I can run them. Btw I use this holster to conceal a Glock 45 and I’m 5”8 285 and it works great for appendix carry.
Is this holster still good with appendix carry when sitting down as well? Where did you get it at because the site that the maker advertises on is "closed for orders" right now due to being backed up with orders I guess (North Coast Tactical) but I also just found this holster on JX Tactical today too. Please let me know if you still check comments for this because I want to buy this holster
Just got my Fat Man holster in the mail today. Plain black carbon fiber look for stealth (and I'm cheap). Looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for showing so many carry options. Using a loop and Ulticlip hadn't occurred to me. I'll give you a sub just for this informative video. Thanks.
I love my JX tactical holster. I don't use the top set of holes that are specifically designed for fat guys due to feeling like I can't get a good grip on the gun. But I've been carrying with my JX holster for well over a year now with my G19 and had no problems. I actually just ordered another one last night for my X Macro.
I think I found my next holster. I'm not fat or a guy, but I do love the adjustability, And different clip options For the days i'm not wearing pants with a belt. Thanks for the great vid!

I noticed they have the IWB 2.0 model with claw attachment. I wonder if that model is the same as the fat guy holster with just more available attachments?
I haven't went without a belt or in sweatpants in years. Since the apocalypse started atleast. I really appreciate the memory of life pre crazy covid. I could go sailing with just a 5 shot j frame in the boat now I can't goto the fast food place without being ready for anything. It gets old hauling this heavy go bag in and out of the truck to run town
I don't see a holster option for a HK P30SK. Is the VP9-SK holster compatible with the P30SK, or do I need to wait until one for my model is available?
I have never carried Appendix. Do you remove the holster and pocket it or something when using a public restroom stall? I figure all that weight on the front flap of your unbuttoned pants would be a bit unwieldy.
i just let my pants and underwear fall around my ankles. It provides a soft landing for the gun. That way everyone knows I'm packing heat at the urinal and no one touches me.
@2437omarf I am not currently using one. The wedge pulls it in closer but I am not having any issues without it. I like to take it in and out faster without it but I do run them on some of my holsters.

Only complaint is that back piece of plastic sticking up. On a fat guy I'd think it would dig in, should have some soft tag instead. I haven't bought one yet but for the money that's might be a deal breaker cause I have other holsters with the plastic piece and no matter what clock position it rubs my skin.
My cheap ass just wear my gun belt and holster then pull my shorts over it. works like a charm and no one has noticed it yet. I can seat down or run just fine. 😅
Have 2 of these holsters,had for bout 2months now..never used them,took claw off no retention at all now...and there customer service is the absolute worse I've ever seen...
The gun needs to sit higher away from the waistband! Last thing I want is to fight getting my hand around the pistol grip. This holster is a no go for me

I wish they made a claw attachment that fit this.
The ones I have tried are all too short for deep carry holsters like this one.
For me it works without it.

Probably the best and least intrusive aside from comfortable is the wedge.

I just unzip and go thru the opening in my boxer briefs and the zipper. This way I don't undo the snap or button or my belt.

U can adjust the height. The low setting is harder but meant for an over hang belly
