Decided to skip Anthem and pick this up instead, was skeptical at first since im not a huge fan of both companies but then i tried the beta out and i really like it, i enjoyed it more than i did with the Anthem demo at least.
I was a big fan of The Division 1 but I stopped playing that for lack of content. I was planning on buying Anthem cause I had high hopes for that. After playing the Demos I was disappointed. But I'm very happy for The Division 2. It has good potential
@AndyXP just look at the metacritic for both game's and you'll know, Anthem has been bricking people's Ps4's tho if you haven't heard, I'd suggest looking at a bit of a more in-depth review if you're really interested although i recommend that you just get TD2 the game is full of content.
This looks great. Most of the games I really enjoy turn out to be Ubisoft products. I have not yet bought The Division 2, but I sure will. I am only interested in the single player experience myself. I hope they did something about the bullet sponge enemies.
If you never planned to release this on Steam, do me a favor and keep The Division 1 server alive and keep regular maintenance. Coz' I liked The Division very much.

In gameplay absolutely yes. Some physics are better here as well. But the loot and gameplay is better after playing i can't see myself going back on the first division.
Absolutely, but be aware though that graphics and mechanics are still attached to the first one, it's not like the second one is a huge difference from the the previous (like what happened with Mass Effect 1 and 2 for example).
Good game, but soo many bugs and glitches / misplaced collectibles behind walls / doors that cannot be open / invisible wall for bullets but not NPC and player character - this one is strange :D / Some "Delta error" on key locations on the map / ambient sound is missing a lot , game is quiet only footsteps and gunshots / strange artifacts invisible walls / hands are twisted when changing weapons in inventory menu / a lot of floating props in the air. I'm enjoying the game but it's really buggy and glitchy. And I know the first one had its share of problems as well. I got the ultimate edition and I've been playing it. The game is nice just this problems is really distracting.

Division 2 is actually a feature complete, polished release. That is rare for this genre!
I bought both and Anthem is BIG dissapointment. Compared to Division 2 well its just not comparable.

Dude even if it was on Steam you would still have to use Uplay to have access to the game, like what happens with AC Unity for example.
