Gorgeous. I grew up on this series and I own a small construction company now. Please believe this story is absolutely necessary to more than a few people.
I usually cringe when I see stuff like this but as a massive LoK fan and a former Mod author myself I really respect and applaud the effort that's gone into this. The models and textures are top notch and even if it is just a simple test demonstration arena it all comes together very nicely. Good work all around boss. Keep it up. Vae Victus!
There was some dude that was working on something like that by himself, but I think he eventually quit working on it as it was many years ago and I never heard anything about it.
Sadly i dont think they woupdve done this, the writers of the story along with Amy(the momma of the series) were very strict on not having him used again in any capacity outside of continuity reasons because as far as they were concerned his side of the story was done at the end of defiance and didnt want his sacrifice to seem less impactful if he comes back as an MC again even if its a prequel. They didn't even want him to be used as "special attack" for kain in one of the canceled games after defiance.
I'm in the early stages of creating a fan series covering this very era or Nozgoth during Kain's vampire empire. Being made entiry in skyrim, with the use of mods and fully voice acted, I aim to help fulfill some of these desires of fans seeing their beloved vampire characters in a game of thrones inspired action thriller. Love seeing fans recreate a series from over a decade ago. Not sure if limitations of the program, but the pillars stood into the sky higher than anything in Nosgoth and went underground just as deep. The open area around the pillars would be amazing for a more open-scale free movement Blood Omen game
they should make some changes to the open world of those games, it wasn't that consisted in each game and it pissed me off (example: the sarafan stronghold in soul reaver 2 vs the one in defiance). nosgoth feels much smaller by todays standarts...I know, I literally played both games a few days ago

There won't ever be a Soul Reaver 3 since Raziel's arc has come to a conclusion, but a next game might very well be a Blood Omen 3. Just imagine how cool it would be to play as Kain building his empire and raising his lieutenants!

We don't know whether or not Nosgoth is the whole planet, or just one area, but I like to think that it's just one kingdom, and everyone else is confused and scared when things start going pear shaped.
Yes, I can modify the model and try to bring that up as much as possible. But not sure how ok it would look for a decorative piece as a settlement object
That's actually the Wayne Manor for a new worldspace/player home I created for my Batman mod. What I showed here regarding Legacy of Kain is just a decorative piece for workshop building.

Legacy of kain not only needs a remake but a reboot give it a fresh restart and show more of the other brothers how they changed I had so many questions that were never answered
This is awesome dude, I recomend you to use Onymaru's Third person animations they look far better, in fact he is working on some animations for droids that would look great on raziel.

Scale is a little off. Either Raziel should be smaller or the Pillars should be bigger. For reference, rewatch the opening cinematic to Soul Reaver. The circle at the center of the dias, the one Raziel kneels on, its diameter is about the same as Raziel's height. The Pillars themselves look correct, so just reduce/ increase the scales appropriately.
at first i thought...man something is off, maybe give him a breathing animation would make Raziel more natural...but then i remembered a little detail....hahaha

The remake my guy I have the game for pc but idk hoe to install new textures or graphics mods I also want to get the camera fix but idk how to add it to the game
hey look nice the textures and everything look great. however, they are far too tiny. like just watch the cutscene in sr2 with Raziel and kain at the pillars the gold part at the base is as tall as kain and I imagine he's a pretty tall guy. the platform is also far bigger than shown here like those squares on the platforms with the symbols in them. each box could fit a person in them if they were laying flat on their backs. what we got here are little tinny baby pillars you need to scale the whole thing up. but the height of the platform seems right with the stairs and all. keep that the same but the width of the whole thing needs to be increased tenfold. and if you can't make the pillars go up endlessly you should top them off with some decorative gold like they did in bo1.
Yes, but keep in mind that this is just a mod as an workshop decoration for settlement building as a fan decoration. It wouldn't make sens to make it really that big. That's why I tried to keep them in smaller scale.
@@MrrrDude so definitely more of a diorama of the pillars than the actual pillars themselves. well in that case I’ll still recommend decorating the top of the pillars like they did in blood omen 1 just get some screen shots of them in game to use as reference or just make it look like the tops have been snapped off like they’re broken

That is a pretty wicked Raziel design. Not gonna lie. If there were future LoK games and Raziel did somehow make a comeback in his wraith form I say this design you've made is a dead ringer for a winner.

I wouldn't say that, one person shouldn't be the most important igredient to a remastered success or bring back the series. I know with Amy Henning is a 100% guarantee success, but the worlf of Nosgoth is big and If a development gaming team would really be pasionate about it, I bet they could also make something great. In the gaming industry and everything in life actually, shouldn't all be realiable on just a single person.
The model animation does not seem right to me. Looks like an old man running and tumbling where as Raziel is a strong wraith. This build does not embody that. I don't think the series even had it like this and that should be a starting point.
I think you are missing a small tiny detail. Everything you see in the video has been added in Fallout 4, which in turn means it's using Fallout 4-player animations.

It's just a diorama of the pillars not the full scale of the pillars themselves, otherwise they would be huge.
