Lake placid blue is such a pleasant finish name.
As opposed to something like "River Thames Brown" haha
Lake Placid, NY was the site of the 1980 Olympics, where the US won the famous “Miracle On Ice”. That’s the first thing I always think of.

@@leafsinseven Upstate NY in general is beautiful. I had a hockey tournament in Lake Placid years ago and it looked incredible. Right around fall time.

Michael was in rare form this evening. All of the tunes were so entertaining and easy to listen to. Michael and Jen have a great time working together!

@@TylerJohnstonGuitar That. Horiffic shit came much later. The 9 pounds of Nearly unremovablle Rock hard Plastic/Urethane ? ( For starters ) Which STILL.lives on on current guitars. Including low end Fenders & Gibson's. & Fender still makes "50's style guitars that are Pumpkin Orange ! I Only mentioned early 60's Fenders because the Necks & everything else were UNREAL. ( one was given to me, a 56. & the Blonde 61' Lightweight swamp ASH. $100. W/ Beat case. The best I ever played. ( Found it in a Hellhole pawnshop ) while passing through Alabama. That dude was straight up Mean !!!
@@soundpainter2590 Yeah I’d say Fender definitely fell from the graces a bit from the late 60s all the way until the 2000s. I’ve been happy with a lot of the recent stuff though. They really just got it right the first time around.
@@TylerJohnstonGuitar yeah, One of the consistently great strats are the EJ Ones. & ( If you seriously dig for one,) can be had @ an amazing price. Neck feels like a late 50's Bigger Frets, & Amazing build ! As the trem block is Exactly as an original, & my 61. End broke through. I' Tried many replacements, even a DTemple Titanium.. it sounds very "Trebley" Just wrong. So I'm. Gonna switch out the EJ block. I ordered one from Fender but received a "Vintage" Trem block. TOTALLY wrong. In every way. Oh well. I'm not Anal about it. Just miss it sounding the way it did. Damm I miss touring ! (( & I used to say, I need some Alone time )) I'm looking for a house with a serious basement. On a mountain. So , no one can hear me ! & also for a studio. Times are getting Beyond freaky, The Future ?? Ha ha... Hilarious.. I've been around, Never saw a situation remotely like this. & I'm an Optimist ! Hang in there brother. Stay safe, & keep jamming @ my phone & computer are extremely Beyond "Shadowbanned " Most don't receive my post.

Lemmo’s back! I’ve wanted a LPB Jag ever since I saw John Frusciante playing one in the video for Under The Bridge. This one sounds great too. Not going to find out the price because I know I’ll be tempted.

All the crazies in the house, they did a great job entertaining us all and doing different things super well, but sometimes it's good to have a simpler quieter loud 'fingers and ear' demonstration and this was perfect. Whoever buys this guitar will be getting a treat. Happy Hols to Norm and all the family

Glad to have Michael back. Playing a Jaguar. Refreshing to have his contemporary modern take on what these guitars are capable of. One of my best friends has a 63 Jaguar. Played it few times when I was younger dog sitting.
I am so happy to see Michael today!!! I love his reviews and style! I love the Jaguar guitars too. Can’t afford a Fender so I bought a Squier and modded it with all Fender parts. Rock on Michael and all of Norm’s great people.
