i feel you. I grew up as a teenager in the 80's and fell for the stigma of the Bee Gees because their Disco Dominance. Boy was I wrong, these bros are the PINACLE of music. LEGENDS! They can and have done it all! You get time check out music from their STILL WATERS and HIGH CIVILIZATION Albums. More of a modern pop sound, but damm the melodies, lyrics, harmonies all still signature Bee Gees.
Sorry for the second comment. I'd like to add a couple of more Bee Gee songs if you haven't seen them yet. One is "For whom the bell tolls". You'll find at least two videos of this song. I prefer the one that has them singing outside by the river in New York City. Just the 3 brothers and their guitarist. My other choice is "This is where I came in". It was their final release and came out 2 years before Mo died. It is humorous and a bit autobiographical. There is also a video of the making of "This is where I came in".
I think this is one of my favorite songs of theirs! Especially because Mo is singing lead! You need to check out their children with Please don’t turn the lights by the Gibb Collective! It includes Andy’s daughter, Mo’s daughter, 2 of Robin’s sons, and 1 or 2 of Barry’s sons. They are singing one of The Bee Gees songs. And then Peta (Andy’s daughter) also sings one of Andy’s songs “A Fool for a Night” which is fantastic!
That song only has Robin’s son Spenser. Has Maurice’s son Adam at piano, his daughter Samantha with dark hair, Andy’s daughter Peta and Barry’s oldest son Stephen, Robin’s son RJ does I started a joke on the album. But yes please check out the Gibb Collective. Great suggestion
As always, appreciate your Bee Gees reactions & some lovin on brother Mo! Also a joy to hear they've become your guilty pleasure....no need to apologize. Please check out another Mo lead on The Midnight Special with Lay it on Me. It's Mo's live swamp rock tune, & other channels have been ok when reacting to it!🎶
In this video of Closer Than Close, Mo & Robin are 48 (Barry 51). But in the Lay it on Me performance, they were 24 & 27....& having a grand old time!🕺
@@bShawreactswe lost the great Toby Keith in February. Would you please react to Courtesy of the Red White and Blue. And....I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again. Thank you. If you don't know his music you are in for a treat.
Each of the gibb brothers have their own unique chest vocals.... that's why 'They' are awesome, special talented musicians in the world 😊🎉If Maurice and Robin were still with Barry now ...we might be more awesome songs from them🎉😅😊
His name is pronounced "Morris". Or, Mo as his brothers and fans call him. 😁 I actually prefer his singing to the others. BUT, they are all exceptional in their own way. Three voices blending into one. Mo didn't sing a lot of lead but you can find many on RUclips. Another good one is "Man in the Middle" from this same concert. I HAD to buy the dvd. lol ETA: "Man in the Middle" is from a different concert.
Have you checked out Maurice leading on Walking on air, Hold her in your, Lay it on me and his solo song Railroad? Love the reactions. Keep smiling no more tears. ❤
The Bee Gees wrote as much nr 1 songs as Lennon /McCartney, so isit a guilty pleasure to listen to the Beatles ? 😉😊 Bee Gees were Beatle fans btw . 🙏🏻Later Mo became friends with Ringo.
I love the twins voices they are so different and so perfect for the types of music they preferred to write and lead on. Barry was always pushed into the forefront by the recording companies despite the fact nearly all the songs were collaborations.
Brother I would love to hear reactions to jelly roll. I’m sure you’ve gotten that a lot but let me know if you need any suggestions for old or new and I’m sure you’ve heard him before but I would love to hear a first reaction to some of his songs if you haven’t heard any.
@@bShawreacts his most famous is save me. Or need a favor. And Craig Morgan and him almost home live at the grand ol opery. Is a few. I love the videos and your raw reactions keep up the good content brother
I wish Barry had not thrown in his falsetto interjections. They were unnecessary. It seemed he was trying to outperform Maurice, which was unfair. Maurice deserved to shine.
Another beautiful Bee Gees performance
Listening to Bee Gees is never a guilty pleasure...just a pleasure!
Maurice is my favorite too, he's just different so mysterious and gorgeous of course.
I've always adored Mo for his voice, musicianship, his smile, humour and style. Thank you for sharing.
Nice to see Maurice getting some love. He was always my favorite. By the way, his name is pronounced Morris.
Full concert one night only Las Vegas, it’s on RUclips as long as you’re listening to them on the side, I know you’ll enjoy it
Absolutely! Thank you!
one of the most beautiful Maurice's song is "wildflower" in living eyes album, i recomend you that song
I absolutely love Maurice's voice, so different from Barry's and Robin's.
Me to love Mo
Maurice wrote about the ups and downs of being in a group , of family members, and trying to fulfill the fantasy of fame.
Mo is also my favorite ❤
Witty, intelligent, superb musician! Great Mo❤❤❤
Also its about his time in rehab and after they renewed their vows.
Mo sang " Man in the Middle" about his rehab also.
Love watching you enjoy the beautiful music. Thanks for sharing the fun!!!❤
Love this song!
You need to react to man in the middle with Mo singing the lead 👍🏻🤩🏴
👏👌👌
Check out Maurice singing with ex wife Lulu on her UK special. Beautiful duet in 2002 before he passed.

Above and Beyond is another great song with Mo on the lead vocals.
Lay It On Me from The Midnight Special is also a must for Mo fans!
Wie ich immer sage....jeder Song ist eine Überraschung. Und es macht gute Laune die Bee Gees zu hören ❤❤❤
Dam, this song sounds so sexual. Since mo is lead I'm sure it's meant to be.😜. Thanks b , 👍😘
👍🤣👀😉😂

My favorite Maurice lead, very underrated.
Agreed!
Never heard this before. Like it!
love me some Mo too
R.I.P. Mo, Robin and Andy 🙏🏻 But hey, Barry is still doing his music and lives in Miami, may be you’ll get a chance to meet him 😉
