- On this episode we take out Cessna Cardinal across the North Atlantic Ocean to Kulusuk on the east coast of Greenland, and then over the Greenland ice cap to Kangerlussuaq, a former US military base now Greenland's main airport. We enjoy warm Greenlandic hospitality. Go sightseeing the surrounding area, and take a tour to the Ice Cap where we actually get to walk on top of the ice.
In this video series I hope to offer a glimpse into the challenges of preparing and actually flying across the Atlantic ocean, navigating over the remote northern landscapes and vast stretches of water, and experiencing breathtaking views that only a small plane can offer. Join me as I share insights into the planning and execution of this flight, including the joys and challenges faced along the way. Whether you're a seasoned pilot, an aviation enthusiast, or someone who dreams of adventure, this video series offers something for everyone. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I did.

What's the little mirror at the middle of the dash for?
In the 1960s cessna started building airplanes with a rear window. Adding a rear view mirror was a marketing strategy to make the aircraft feel more like a car.
