Man, when D-Low says "broken, broken, your flow is broken," I lose it every time because B-Art's biggest flaw is his timing. I love B-Art's sounds, but his timing is always slightly off and D-Low roasted the hell out of him with that little statement.
His rounds against B-Art and Zekka were extremely close. There was only 1 or 2 point difference in those battles. However, the only reason there was only a 1 point difference against Zekka was just the simple fact that D-Low went over his time..that's it. If D-Low had ended his rounds on time, that margin would have been bigger. The reason it was so close had nothing to do with skills, just timing and a lot of people don't realize that.
Yoo, in that question you asked, yeahh, they get in score that thing with the loopstation, every single thing they do, counts to score!! Big ups to you.
The first round from Dlow was a seeding round. Every contestant did one and the judges ranked from 1st to 8th. Then 1st place battles 8th, 2nd place battles 7th etc
I view "Circle of death" as the execution blow. He stole the thunder from Zekka's crazy vocal technique and his "This is not real", while also building a multi-phase round and bringing everything together for the second to last drop. Also Zekkas 2nd had like 20-30 seconds of dead air, wouldn't have mattered IMO
I think using the loopstation would get scored under the performance category, so it could be the case that pressing the right buttons gets you extra points
You should definitely check out the zekka kickback battle compilation. there’s his seeding round and battle vs Dilip which I don’t believe you’ve seen yet
Oh dave, Idk how loop works , but each button he hit at the bottom and started a new layer, that’s a new loop over the last so no he did great. Both were spot. Prolly unplugged the cable at the amp and did it like they normally would. Edit: bro I forgot how hard he killled b art :/ because he said leave the drum n bass to the uk and he said that gbb 2019 too
Yeah almost everything they did on the loopstation would have had the effect they put in. And yeah the bonus point would have been accurate representation otherwise the fact that he was also a looper wouldnt have had the same punch 😊

And also his 'young cat, slipping on the beat' hit so close to home, even tho I'm all about my man representing the Dutch
@@Rubykittyy yeah "young cat. I bet I catch you slippin on the beat" is fire too. D Low calling out B-Arts timing inconsistencies in 4K. Lol.

And zekka re referenced his previous round instead new sounds
And d-low used a 2 minutes counter in his last round in the finals so....yup he had yo win no one would do that🤣🤣
zekka is really good, but yeah he really messed up on round 4
9:35 it scores points for originality. and yes the buttons that he pressed does the things that he did
Yoo, in that question you asked, yeahh, they get in score that thing with the loopstation, every single thing they do, counts to score!! Big ups to you.
nice break down keep up the good work!
Appreciate it!

i assumed he pressed the right buttons so that would count under the category of showmanship
You should react to Azel, it will blow your mind, believe me xD

9:33 yes , originality points for pressing the loop station and also showmanship points are awarded for pressing the right buttons lmao
sekka compilation bro... nice react by the way...

It’s also a rebuttal because rythmind his opponent used loop first
Using the loopstation as a prop would come under performance and originalty, for D low it would score more highly on the counter section of the score.

You have to send in a tape to be judged and to qualify to be in the competition
