true words bro, i am mostly cs player, but like valorant too. but the cheating problem is literally gamebreaking. In CS2 above 15k premier every game has 1 hacker, in Valorant in 100 matches i have seen.......zero hackers, no cap

Valorant main and a casual CSGO guy here. I will still give credit that CS has superior graphics but some things definitely should be addressed. Some of the comparisons seemed to be off/using the incorrect agents for showcasing the differences.
1. Water physics and effects are naturally off to avoid distractions and of course like others have said, optimization. I may own a NASA PC, but I know not everyone has one.
2. Glass is literally destructible in Ascent- even though it's not a great animation like CS, the person who made the video certainly doesn't know Valorant well enough.
3. There's literally destructible objects on Icebox and Bind like the snowmen and ceramic pots; although in miniscule amounts compared to CS.
4. Lorewise, although everyone refers to the Spike as a "bomb", it is not. It's a device to transport radianite between universes. So I'm not expecting Michael Bay funded animations for explosions.
5. VALORANT literally has KAY/O for CSGO flashbangs, and this comparison decided to use Yoru... nuff said.
6. No maps on Valorant have or will need a swimming feature- it's a FPS for crying out loud.
7. Bullet denting textures change depending on the thickness and material of the wall, so OP shooting a pillar is obviously gonna have the one texture... >_>
Overall, Valorant simplified the graphics and concepts for newer players and veterans alike while CSGO is the grandfather original.

I mean Valorant players can't dispute that the game looks terrible, and has goofy animations. Csgo also looked terrible for a game in 2023, but cs2 is out now and looks objectively good. Gameplay is a different story but Valorant just looks bad.

Yeah when I'm playing a hyper competitive shooter i just need ot be able to see my legs and water physics and other performance intensive features that most players remove instantly. Thanks to yhis totally unbiased video I will now never play valorant again, dogshit game with lazy devs.

i know both game's artstyles are different but for the people who say cs2 only looks better because it was made 3 years after valorant: cs2 uses basically the same engine as half life alyx which released in 2020 so valorant could definitely look as good as cs2 while keeping the cartoony artstyle

First of all: I played both games. Once Valo came out I quit CS and sometimes come back for a game or 2, once in a week.
There's no real need to compare these 2 in graphics, they use absolutely different approaches. 2 different visiual styles. Valorant was made that way so everyone and everywhere could play the game, it has great optimization. Riot wasn't trying to make it look realistic / semi-realistic.
Riot actually succeed in all other ways and Riot's games will (actually they already did) outrun Valve's products in popularity.
It always looks so funny how CS hardcore fanboys try to immitate, like they're so far ahead of Valorant.
It is so rare to run on Valorant enjoyer trashtalking CS, but CS enjoyer trashtalking Valorant is like everywhere. That is pathetic. They're scared.

Valorant does have destructible objects and glass but not as much and detailed as CS2 but yeah, these details doesn't matter as much in shooter games compared to something like triple a game

On one hand Valorant has a completely different approach going for a cartoon x fantasy style while CS is going for realism. To each their own, if someone doesn't like either one of them then so be it. And on the other hand Valorant was on the worst possible graphic settings with bloom, distortion, cast shadows etc. disabled.

@@sw-gz9ps yeah it is. The reason is because it's difficult to run for literally 0 extra gameplay experience. As I said before. There's no maps made with windows that can see to anything useful and 99% of water is just for decoration out of the map. And shadows would be difficult to see and annoying in valorant. Also breaking objects does basically nothing. Why to reduce the playability of the game for pretty much no reason. Plus imagine having a game with loads of abilities combined with insane graphics and breakable objects and splashy water. You'd literally not be able to see anything. Also I guarantee you've never played valorant before otherwise you'd realise and understand what I'm saying

The reason why there are no glass windows in valorant is BECAUSE you cant break them The reason why the lighting is set up in a way that reduces the visibility of potential shadows is BECAUSE there are no real time shadows. There is no CURRENT utility for water physics because there are NO water physics. breakable objects add to the potential a game has. Breakable glass, semi breakable doors and a moving reactive environment are all game-play features that impact game-play considerably. Just say that valorant caters to potato pc's and said people playing on potato pc's have no better option. DONT say that it is better, because if you had a pc and HAD the option, you would opt for better physics.

And no I wouldn't opt to have random useless things that barely add anything to valorant. The only 1 thing I would like in valorant is better shaders eg building and object shadows and better sunlight etc. That's all. The rest is just a massive distraction in valorant I'd hate to have it in the game. For Cs it might be nice for some people but to be honest I wouldn't really care if valve removed breakable objects and realistic water because it barely adds anything. @dranzer2003 one physical server hosts 3 game sessions that share its ressources, meaning if one of the game sessions is demanding more ressources the others get throttled. There is a Riot blogpost about their servers. Thats where i got the info.
