Dom, when my husband was still alive (he died in 2020), we would get in the car and drive from Wilmington to Philly to Pat's King of Steak for one of these delicious sandwiches. It was such a treat. But yours looks so much tastier and packed with more fantastic rib eye. The chicken parm looks fantastic too, Papa P! You guys are bringing back such great memories. Maybe I'll get in the car and drive to Philly!

Recently discovered your channel, and as an Italian American myself I am enjoying your down home Italian American recipes and cooking style. Tomorrow I will be making my grandmother's what she called quick sauce that she made when meat was a luxury item, but there was always a stick of pepperoni in the fridge and that is what she used to flavor her quick sauce. Chunks of pepperoni cooked in a sauce is delish and I usually add pepperoni to my lasagna for a nice kick.

Glad I'm in area in Jersey where there are all of us Brooklyn/Staten Island transplants so i have access to the authentic stuff from back home. Pastosa Ravioli, Bread etc people made smart business moves from back home and opened up Brooklyn Pizza Spots, Pastry Shops, Italian Gigantic Supermarkets etc got all the bases covered.
