Chuck B was a great actor that starred in so many amazing movies and it's funny how Death Wish started as this dark, gritty and realistic take on the vigilante trope and showing how it would affect someone who became one and then it turned into this franchise that glorifies vigilantism and I'm all in for it. Death Wish 3 is one of my favourite Cannon movies for a reason

I met him at a production meeting as he volunteered to cameo in an indie I was involved with. EXTREMELY nice guy, hilarious, oh and his family is incredibly friendly and non-"Hollywood".

In this case since it's a death wish movie you can basically guess what happens in the beginning anyway. I do however like the beginning of this one more than the others.
It was but a twisted part of me wishes he just shot him in the legs to down him and then continue to shot non-vital areas to make him suffer a much slower painful death. Too many movies just kill the dastardly villain a little too quick.

When Sifu Seagal said that he couldnt' be choked out it was Gene that actually DID choke him out to prove him wrong. And also made Seagal poo himself when he did it!!!!!! True Story!!!!! The Death Wish series is wild. From a more serious tone in the first. Total exploitation in the second. A sort of post-apocalyptic action dark-comedy vibe in the third. To the more standard action fare in this and V: The Face of Death.
This is practically a remake of Blood Debts with Richard Harrison. From the rival bad guy using him to kill off the competition to blowing him to pieces at the end. Major difference is just that Harrison's character turned himself in to the police.
I absolutely love the Deathwish series. From the dark more realistic 1 and 2 to the batshit insanity that the rest of them are. Also the soundtrack is incredible, really captures the feel of dark alleyways.
A far cry from Death Wish 3 (one of the finest movies ever made) but still a solid edition in the Bronson saga. Plenty of good death and big haired blond bimbos. ❤️🎉❤️🎉❤️🎉

I swear, Danny Trejo gets everywhere. Also, I love how so many movies show supressors being super quiet. Yes, they're quiet, but not that THAT quiet. (so I've heard, not speaking from personal experience or anything xD) Also love the final guy just getting hit with a friggin' grenade at what is almost point-blank range. xD And I loved that Home Alone-like scene from Death Wish 3 too. YES!! Been waiting for you guys to react to this one. It's just ridiculous and so good at the same time. Cracks me up that the soundtrack for this flick was recycled from both Missing in Action and especially Invasion USA during the oil rig ambush. Cannon was apparently in bad shape finance wise when this was made so they cut even more corners than usual. Still a great flick, especially the explosive finale. Your reaction to that was superb.

The first 20 minutes of pretty much any Chuck B movie can safely be ignored. Hardly anybody gets killed before the 30 minute mark.
But then you miss 15ish minutes of Bronson 🤔

the face of death has insane deaths especially at the end fight.
That's a perfect summary of the films. The last two are definitely the worst because the series lost it's identity.
