Considering how these action movies were shot in the day, can we appreciate how much Dolph actually shoulders and aims the weapons he's using?
Think I will watch the movie tonight, never noticed that.
One way you can tell in a movie if they have someone that known what they are doing in regards to firearms especially with pistols with a clip, is the grip they use.
If they you see them using the tea cup grip, which where they put their other hand right under the hand that is gripping the pistol, that's a bad grip and one that nobody with actuall firearm experience will use.

Remember Dolph was in the Swedish military, so it makes sense he would know the proper way to hold a weapon.

The reason the films explosives look so good is that they used actual dynamite that belonged to the millitary, also Dolph doing a lot of the stuff himself is badass.
The more times Jason has to say "GOD DAMMIT" because of Dave and Erin, the better the video. Also, the pyro and stunt work in this one are absolutely off the rails. You have to wonder how many hospital beds were filled during the shooting.
This is honestly one of my favorite movies! Absolute action hero cliche, piss thin plot and lots of violence absolutely perfect! Big love from Scotland btw!

It was interesting finally finding out the origin of the bizarre lyrics.
Im from Sweden,just like Dolph Lundgren,and I also used to train his style of karate,kyokoshinkai karate and went to several karate camps in Stockholm in late 80s early 90s where Dolph was one of our instructors as a black belt. It was fun and quite interesting!

What can I even say. That I never knew Dave was my spirit animal? A beer bandolier drinking badass that is channeling the spirit of a good friend of mine who was a big guy, hard drinking, loads of fun with a great sense of humor? He regrettably passed away years ago but Dave brings back those same feels my buddy Kevin used to give us watching movies like this at an old apartment of mine. I know this is a later upload, but after watching, I think this is one of my favorite episodes on this channel. I freaking love how the movie is just as chaotic and awesome as the commentary from you three. Bravo.
Always a good time when a stuntman in one of these takes a bad fall and you're all like 'Wait, is that man dead?' or some other variation. The answer is, I hope they had health insurance.
Also love that scene where Dolph is just staring every else down in the bar and none of them want to try anything. It's like avoiding being torn apart by a Silverback Gorilla in the wild by avoiding direct eye contact.
Breaking down Jason's walls with the Africa bit throughout the movie is my favorite storyline
I gotta say that when a movie is not lending to the humor of the episode, having Dave present always saves the day!!! When Dave is drinking and in form the episode is gold!!!! Erin was also hilarious in this episode. Overall a great job by the whole crew on a movie that was just good!!!!

Ah, Red Scorpion. It's one of my favorite movies from my pre adolescence. 1988 was a great year for movies.
Tom Savini was brought in to add some of the more grisly special effects, the hand being shot off at the end was down to him.
Red Scorpion is an awesome Lundgren flick! Fun fact the old guy he hangs out with in the desert was a real tribesman who was like 89 years old. Would highly recommend Joshua Tree, which is basically Fast & Furious but with Dolph Lundgren and bolos.

one of the best things about Dolph is that he breaks the stereotype of being just a stupid bunch of muscles - the guy has a masters degree in chemical engineering.
Not only is Dolph an Adonis the dude is a freaking brainiac, not many know how intelligent he is. He is a chemical engineer and was the European karate champ back in the ‘80s.
And yes, that’s how you aim and fire a recoil-less rifle

I never realized how much I enjoyed Dolph Lundgren. I own all of his movies, but only regularly watched 3. The PUNISHER, universal soldier, and He-man. However, since I found S.B.I.G., I've opened and watch them all. You guys need to see the peacekeeper. It's insane.. Great video as usual usual.

Dolph Lundgren has a masters degree in chemical engineering. He also is a fourth dan black belt in his chosen discipline of karate, and was in fact a European champion in the early 80s. He dated Grace Jones, and at the time worked security at nightclubs. He also modeled before he turned to acting. And from all reports and everything I've seen he's a bloody nice guy too. Dolph is just awesome.

You need to watch Command Performance. Dolph plays the drummer of a rock band whose concert is attacked by terrorists. His character also knows martial arts for some reason. Oh, and he wrote and directed it.
