New camera and microphone. Kiwi is going "Hollywood" on us😂
Sound was great! Wow that transmission is a monster.
So we replace the floor pans because they are rotten then cut out the good metal that’s left to fit powertrain. Tons of structural work, glad you’re showing ALL that is involved in swapping engines and doing real custom work. Good show! Thank!
New setup is awesome Kiwi. Im looking forward to the journey from here in Taihape! All i would pack is a hammer, vice grips, a cresent, some baling twine and some No8 wire and the kiwi ingenuity will see you through! Bring on the road trip!
Appreciate the new camera and mic, good stuff just got better! Have a safe trip grabbin the wagon!
Haha. Kiwis big adventure! Nice work man.
Phew, I’m tired just watching you guys. The GoPro image is much sharper. Good call. Happy travels.
Nice job and safe travels. Fancy a Kiwi bloke over in Nashville area. Next an Aussie walks into Uncle Tonys' new shop, asking why Clevlands don't get more love over in the U.S.A.!
Fab-U-Less !! Craftsmanship at its best.
Great Video, Thanks Kiwi. New Camera and mic are awesome! Have a great time on the '59 Plymouth adventure.
Hey Kiwi,
Tim here, yea, THATS cool stuff, my shop is in the middle of puttin a Tremec 5-sp behind a flathead, '41 Ford pick up....the kit is in the ball park, but awful at same time....LOTS of surgery.....i appreciate ur vids, and attention to detail.....BOY did i score by sub'n cuz of UTG!!!!......be safe on ur Plymouth wagon excursion.....GODSPEED my brother!!!....PEACE to you sir!!
New Mike has better sound. Keep up the quality work. Safe travels.
Nice gear upgrade Mr Kiwi 😁👍
Nice job Kiwi 👍
Cheers mate!
As soon as you walked under he car I noticed.
Glad you're doing that and not me. Good luck!
Kia ora from NZ- love the show, love the accent contrast ,lol. Good move to have a new mike and camera setup, the old set up was a bit mickey mouse at times. -: Safe travels.
Great upgrade with the go pro Kiwi !!! look forward to your adventure on your road trip...
Go pro needs to sell a kit with that name!
Big motor, tight fit, nice work Kiwi 👍
Bit of a squeeze. Yeah, my engine crane could have been made with better wheel bearings too 🤣
Mic is a definite improvement, we can still hear you when you have to look away 👍
Hoping all goes well on the big adventure.
Bro! My crane is the same. I've struggles with it for years then the other day whilst putting the 2.8 back in my hilux it just took off, it was on a slight downhill on the driveway but I counted on the bearings being so bad that it would be sweet still.. next thing it's in the windscreen having taken out the clutch and brake master cylinders 😂😂 just grazed the screen and thankfully even though I lost most of the fluids, I just topped the old girl up and didn't even need to bleed either of them! 😂😂
Was filling up the xr600 at kopu yesterday at about 5pm and this tourist from California wanted to know which is the best way to get to Whitianga over the finally opened kopu hik or up the coast. Nice guy sent him up the coast for a quiet drive and the scenic view. He asked my why are you kiwis so big lol. Evening drive up the coast is probably one of the nicest drives to do around here. Gave him the usual warning about the locals. He thought NZ was a paradise no crime courteous drivers nice roads he had been here for a few days and was surprised how wrong he was. He now thinks we are a wild people with no respect for the law and he had feared for his safety after getting it wrong at an intersection and up set some hoods and couldn't believe how many young people were hooning around on dirt bikes Lol funny how people perceive us kiwis through the tourism marketing. 😁🇬🇸👍
This is the project I want to see completed. The others are nice but this is what I would like to own but never will.
Awesome!
The GoPro works Great and the new mic is crisp and Loud !
I like the new format.
Like the video and audio
New camera is nice.
Reminds me of the binar.
1000% egged Kiwi! Thank you.
you do nice work
I never complained before but it was annoying always hearing the camera man's breathing louder than your audio. The audio is great and the video is super crisp 👍
👍🏼
Sound quality is definitely an improvement! After watching you pump that engine crane 900 times to raise it up 3 feet, I'm wondering does anyone make a hydraulic cylinder for an engine hoist that lifts with fewer strokes? kind of like a Nascar jack the pit crews use.
Apparently there's electric hydraulic ones available now but I'm not that upmarket😁. I just want one that goes where you push it!!
Think you might should have gone with a different transmission Kiwi, but that may not be an option. Could be worse, you could be putting a Cummings diesel in it with an Alison 10 speed out of a Mack truck into that Cougar. Don't no one tell that to Weston about that, as knowing him he just might try that as a Smokestang 2.0.
The lapel mic is great! That's what Uncle Tony needs for his podcasts. Maybe I'll start watching them. Can't hear you guys with the constant fading in and out. How low to the ground is the drive train gonna be?
You should get the donor tunnel from the car that the engine came out of 🤔
Wow, that transmission is a pig huh? Looking good, progress.
What vehicle did that transmission come out of? Could you not cut the tunnel out of that so you at least have a designed for it starting point? Just thinking out loud here.👍
That's a good way to do it, I've done it that way before. This motor and trans came out of a 22 mustang and the tunnel wasn't available so we're making one😁😎
You are easier to hear with the mic.
Wouldn't it be more sensible to start with the engine and gearbox and then find a car that they would fit in?
Classic Ford fans can't be reasoned with. The wallet is willing but the chassis is at its limit!
Of course it would be more sensible but, hot rods and custom cars aren't about sensibility.
It's a Cougayote!!! The poor thing was never meant to exist, stop playing God! 😅
CUBIC BUCKS. AND IT'S ONLY A 302 AUTOMATIC CHEVY BOYS AND DODGE BOYS! NICE, NICE, NICE KIWI. GLAD TO SEE YOU'RE A FORD MAN, NO BOYS ALLOWED!
Amazing work ! This is really cool to watch!
Yes way way better. Thanks That motor looks massive.
New camera and microphone, big improvement. Safe trip.
The mic is definitely an improvement.
Thanks Kiwi the fast forward part reminds me of Benny Hill great work as usual. Look forward to the road trip, enjoy
No yakety axe tune though...
GoPro footage looked crisp and clear.
Definitely a much needed upgrade with the mic 🎤. For me especially, because my hearing and my phone sucks 😂
A lot of work! The transmission looks centered in the frame so looking forward to your solutions for steering and exhaust headers.
So putting a coyote into a 62 falcon stationwagon might be tight? Maybe have to go with the 2.7 eco instead.
Nooo, it'll fit!!
A title like this will get lots of potentially unexpected viewers.
Well that cross my mind😉
glad that dude has his safety-sneakers on
Steel capped sneakers man!!
The Go Pro and lapel mic really add to your posts. Super enjoy your work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kiwi. Great progress and a true inspiration to all. I put a 6R80 Trans in my factory 1968 Cougar with the FE 390. Drilled one (1) hole plus some hammer/chishle and she made it. That new powertrain should be nice! BOSS!
Shoehorning at it's finest! Maybe just mount the radiator support with Velcro... After that struggle you deserve a road trip! Safe travels to you both! 😎
As always quality detailed work. Audio and video are better Kiwi. Bon Voyage brother.
I presume the coyote uses an electronic gas pedal which I’m sure is nice rather than running a cable. Looked like foot room may be at a premium.
Sound is much better. Thanks.
10 pounds of flower in a 5 pound sack😅 No problem!
Wow I hope the car turns out nice for all the work you have to go through.
It is like trying to fit a size 13 foot into a size 6 shoe. LOL
Little by little
What is that blue car?? Not a Jag, not a Spitfire - is it one of those cars like in The Graduate?
Yes, the go-pro, for all of the bad I hear about them, has better picture quality. The mic will pay off when you stand in front of the camera and narrate, or when someone else is manning the camera, that's about the only times I remember not being able to hear you - and like a year ago or more. I'm guessing that those complaints prompted you to work within the limits of your equipment...
I'd venture a Sunbeam Alpine, going by the windshield. But I've been wrong before..
@@moyadapne968 Thought about that too - it would make the most sense, especially a Tiger!
