  • Here's the Part 2 spectacular* of an otherwise normal Delta flight I promised. (*Spectacular is subjective, but it sure as heck was unreal from the sky.)
This is the descent through and around multiple supercells, one of which was actively producing a tornado north of the 14th largest city in the United States.
These storms caused widespread destruction, particularly in Northwest Ohio. Consider donating to relief at www.redcross.o... or through other groups such as Ryan Hall's Y'all Squad.

Nice! That same night I was sitting in my house located just outside of Grove City near Darbydale at that moment looking north watching the same storms. Who knows, I might’ve seen the strobes of your plane turning on final. I have a nice view of planes approaching Columbus at night with their landing lights especially when they approach from the south and east to come in to land on 10L and 10R. I also had the 10tv weather on too lol

This is insanely cool. Storm chasing from the air, if you will.

I used to live in the Columbus suburbs from 2006-2010. Did they recently upgrade CMH? The terminal signage reminds me of Amsterdam or JFK's Delta terminal. I don't ever recall CMH having that signage from 2006-2010 and we flew out of there a handful of times each year.

CMH was renovated in the early to mid 2010s but the international style signage may have been there before that.
