I'm just realizing how important knowing the truth about the state of the dead is! Many Christians who misunderstand what happens when you die, can easily be deceived by Satan's wonders when people will supposedly be seeing their deceased loved ones!
I’ve taken serious notes of everything here Pastor. Going to master these and the rest of the lessons and begin spreading them through the churches here in Hawaii. And where ever the Lord leads me!

Thank you both for this Sabbath School lesson I have watched and studied it so many times I can't count. I am now teaching it to one of my Advent sisters who is shut it as I am. I thank God that many are seeking truth. This study caused me to reread The Great Controversy (chapters 35 thru 39.). EGW states that the Sunday law will be the final test to seal God’s people and to mark the disobedient. Pg 605 “The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of God.” Then mercy ends and Satan is given complete control which eventually leads to his impersonation of Jesus. Page 613 “When the third angel’s message closes, mercy no longer pleads for the guilty inhabitants of the earth…his work is done…Then Jesus ceases his intercession…Every case has been decided for life or death.” Page 614 “When He leaves the sanctuary, darkness covers the inhabitants of the earth. In that fearful time the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor. The restraint which has been upon the wicked is removed, and Satan has entire control of the finally impenitent. God’s long-suffering has ended. The world has rejected His mercy, despised His love, and trampled upon His law. The wicked have passed the boundary of their probation; the Spirit of Gods, persistently resisted, has been at last withdrawn. Unsheltered by divine grace, they have no protection from the wicked one. Satan will then plunge the inhabitants of the earth into one great, final trouble. As the angels of God cease to hold in check the fierce winds of human passion, all the elements of strife will be let loose. The whole world will be involved in ruin more terrible than that which came upon Jerusalem of old. She then says we will not know when probation closes (pg 615). A death decree will be declared (615-616) and a time of Jacob’s trouble will ensue. Pg 618 “…The Lord permits him (Satan) to try them (remnant) to the uttermost. Their confidence in God, their faith and firmness, will be severely tested.” Pg 620 “Those who delay a preparation for the day of God cannot obtain it in the time of trouble or at any subsequent time. The case of all such is hopeless.” Pg 624 “As the crowning act in the Great drama of deception, Satan himself will personage Christ.” So it reads to me that we are already sealed or marked before this final attempt by Satan. It will indeed be a time of deep anguish for the faithful, but they received the seal of God so they cannot be moved.
I agree Pastor, it’s gonna take a miracle for deadly wound to be healed and the world to wonder after the beast. But what about the latter rain? Will it be before Satans counterfeit or during? What about the people in the world today who believe in God but still do their own thing? Will the latter rain come before Satan does so they can have a chance to escape the deception? Also when you took us to 2 Thessalonians 1:7,8 I thought it was interesting this quote was in my Bible: “The time is coming when Satan will work miracles right in your sight, claiming that he is Christ; and if your feet are not firmly established upon the truth of God, then you will be led away from your foundation. The only safety for you is to search for the truth as for hid treasures. Dig for the truth as you would for treasures in the earth, and present the word of God, the Bible, before your Heavenly Father, and say, Enlighten me; teach me what is truth. And when his Holy Spirit shall come into your hearts, to impress the truth into your souls, you will not let it go easily. You have gained such an experience in searching the Scriptures, that every point is established. And it is important that you continually search the Scriptures. You should store the mind with the word of God; for you may be separated, and placed where you will not have the privilege of meeting with the children of God. Then you will want the treasures of God's word hidden in your hearts, and when opposition comes around you, you will need to bring everything to the Scriptures. Review and Herald April 3, 1888. I think a lot of Adventists get excited when sermons are preached about the mark of the beast because that was the initial topic that drew them into the church in the first place. The beast topic gets sensationalized and is made exciting so learning of the righteousness of Christ and methodically looking at prophecies become boring and lack luster. It’s more about feelings and excitement and not about a settling into the truth.
"40 years and Nineveh will be destroyed!" by Jonah, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!" by John the Baptist, e.t.c. were these exciting messages? I think they were and should the loud cry of the 3rd angel by less exciting? The Church is sleeping... we need a wakeup call. When a sermon is preach on the "wrath of God!" I think if one is not excited, then there must be a serious problem.

Brother Myers, thank you for this series! But a couple of questions that I never thought about till now have come to mind. I'm reading from the NKJV. Question #1 Rev 13:3-5 "The wound is healed...The Whole World followed the beast...So they worship the Dragon....And he was given a month....to continue for 42 months...." Now hasn't the 42 months already happened? My problem that I've never seen before is that I can't find a break and jump back to the dark ages between vs. 3-5. Will there be another 42 months, maybe literal??? I'm not leading an agenda here. I am personally in question over this and it's bothering me. Question#2 Rev 13:13 "He performs great signs..." Who is the "He?" Sea Beast, Land Beast, or Dragon...? I've always been told that the Land beast is USA, but USA doesn't preform great signs and fire from heaven. We as a country are only divided more and more each day. The USA is not uniting anything. Thank You for any insight in this.

The Bridegroom symbolizes Christ coming correct? I've never heard the 10 virgins parable taught this way (heard it in context of investigative judgement, etc.), and I'm very interested to learn more about the details.

Jeff L I believe, pastor, that the local congregations need to focus on the Biblical truths, and Character development. The World has its own entertainments and sensations let’s not bring them in the Church, excuse me for saying it....but I was not brought up in the church and I believe that in the End Time we ought to be more and more spiritual. May I ask? Is a preaching from UFOs going to bring them closer to God?? And how? God does not want us to be pushed to him because of fear or anxiety. He can prove Himself to anyone and able to fill the God-Shaped vacancy that everyone feels till they really want to find Him. My personal opinion, when I am looking for a good End Time sermon, that I need some good SDA material that my soul could feed on (and not just about political or economical news or what Iwas the Pope’s supper. I want balance and the Bible and NOT scarcity. I know it is going to be scary what is ahead of us, but let’s encourage each other. Let we learn how to get the strength when we think we are out of it. - I hope you do not mind that I said my honest opinion. One of my former pastors loved sensations.... and your thoughts triggered a reaction. ..(even though I am not from your flock.)
Praise the Lord for His Word of Prophecy and thank you pastor for your study. Please help me, after checking 2 Cor 11 : 14 I found that the greek word for "light" is Photos.
Overall this is some good teaching. However, for someone who is not from the SDA Church, but interested in learning from this teaching, it is somewhat difficult. I have been a born again Christian for many years, have studied the Bible for years and from particularly non-denominational and Assembly of God churches. You mentioned you don't want to go back or further elaborate on some points, and referencing SDA, is the teaching specifically tailored to SDA members as opposed to the body of Christ as a whole? I apologize if my question is not clear.
The last time I checked the end time signs in Matt. 24, pestilences and earthquakes were part of it. What is wrong with flagging a pestilence as a sign of the end time? "God has revealed what is to take place in the last days, that His people may be prepared to stand against the tempest of opposition and wrath. Those who have been warned of the events before them are not to sit in calm expectation of the coming storm, comforting themselves that the Lord will shelter His faithful ones in the day of trouble. We are to be as men waiting for their Lord, not in idle expectancy, but in earnest work, with unwavering faith. It is no time now to allow our minds to be engrossed with things of minor importance. While men are sleeping, Satan is actively arranging matters so that the Lord's people may not have mercy or justice. The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending. Its professions are mild and apparently Christian, but when it shall speak it will reveal the spirit of the dragon. " - Cch 335.2 So you are saying we should wait till satan impersonates Jesus Christ before we preach Rev. 14:6-12? Do you think NSL will be tagged what it is? No! It will be cladded in deception. We know the NSL is coming. If we wait till it comes before we begin to talk about it, what profit would we then be to the world telling the world what they know already? - John 14:29 that's why we've been given the prophecies. If you know the truth but are scared of telling it because you don't want to alarm people, then stones will arise in your stead and do the work. Wake up now Church before it is too late.
Not sure where you are getting that impression from. Wait around? No, we are to preach the three angels message now, warn people now, spread the everlasting gospel now, without misinterpreting the message, or pointing to false signs that will reduce the seriousness of the message. We out not to be crying wolf. No one said anything about waiting around and doing nothing.

Amen to that! As God’s people who are anticipating the soon return of Jesus, we ought to recognize that everything that goes on around us is part of the bigger picture. We cannot close our eyes to the methods that Satan is using to keep us from sharing the Three Angels message. As watchmen on the walls, our trumpets should give a certain sound to wake people up that time is running out. Maybe they will hate us for the truth we preach but in the end their blood will not be on our shoulders.
The deadly wound has been in the process of healing since Napoleon re-established the papacy in 1801. "Healing" is not "healed". The wound will ONLY be healed when the power to correct heretics unto death is restored. Worship on Sunday, by law, both in the old world (by the papacy, the beast) and in the new world (apostate Christianity, an image like the beast). Worship on Sunday and if you don't, then suffer severe punishment, even death. Then, and ONLY then, is the wound healed.
The SOP is the word of God they were inspired by God and from God. It's the same author. I don't believe in degrees of inspiration, it's either inspired of God or not.
@@ilaisaduasavu1178 I do believe every biblical author in the Bible considered themselves a "lesser light" in comparison to biblical authors who came before them. Ellen White is no different in that regard, she is profoundly one of the great prophets that God raised up for these last days.

Thank you Pastor for your research. However, I have a question. You've stated that the deadly wound has not been healed. However, Revelation 13:12 says "And he exerciseth all power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, WHOSE DEADLY WOUND WAS HEALED." Could you explain. Also, it seems as if the "he" spoken of in Revelation 13:11-17 is referring to the 2nd beast/the United States, not Satan. You've stated that the "whole world will wonder after Satan, not the Pope." What Scripture(s) are you basing that concept on? It's unclear since the Bible was not written in chronological, who the 'he' in Revelation 13:13 is referring to. But the 'he' in Revelation 13:12, 15, 16 seems to refer to the United States. Please explain in more detail. Thank you for all the hard work you've put into knowing/explaining the Word, Spirit of Prophecy. I just need more enlightenment on the above issues.

The “dragon” in Revelation 12 is “both” Satan and Rome. One symbol is used to represent the main entity, Satan, as well as the main power he is working through at the time, which in this case, was Rome.
You are very right....I believe what you are saying too....Its America that causes the whole world to wonder after the first beast....America is the second beast and that's where the powers will be....We have been transitioning into the new world order for years and now we are seeing the fulfillment of all other countries coming together under different powers....its happens behind the scenes with the first beast making friendships with other religious leaders and world leaders...Ive been watching the pope since he was elected in 2013 and he has made his rounds and is doing his works for the last days....He meets up with all the world leaders and the media and celebrities and they are all on the same page...
The w.d hole world does not mean everybody in the world because it want be the remnant but people in every part of the world and we are told that some things want be understood until the unrolling of the scroll. We weren't giving every detail of what will happen
Thank you for the study. Could you kindly clarify a few points. 1) Other religions will also have their gods appear and tell them to worship on Sunday. "As we near the close of time, there will be greater and still greater external parade of heathen power; heathen deities will manifest their signal power, and will exhibit themselves before the cities of the world; and this delineation has already begun to be fulfilled." {Testimonies to Ministers 117} Is it not possible for Muslims to begin keeping Sunday "if Mahommed appears" and tells them to do so and instructs them to worship the false Christ? 2) Does fire come down from heaven (Revelation 13:13) mean Satan will come with fire just as Christ shall come (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8)? Is not the fire that is associated with the second coming a result of Christ's glory? (Matt 16:27; Hebrews 12:29)? Satan will not be able to imitate this. I struggle to see Satan's appearance as being the coming down of fire from heaven. Is it not that Satan will appear to call down literal fire from heaven? "We are coming right upon the time when Satan is to work with all manner of bewitching influences, and those who are charmed with them now, or give them the least countenance now, will be all ready to be swept right in to act a part with the devil then. Evil angels are working all the time upon the hearts of men. Satan is working with everyone who is not under the control of the Spirit of God. It is the lying wonders of the devil that will take the world captive, and he will cause fire to come down from heaven in the sight of men. He is to work miracles; and this wonderful, miracle-working power is to sweep in the whole world. It is now just beginning." {2 Selected Messages 51.2} "And, furthermore, Satan is not permitted to counterfeit the manner of Christ's advent. The Saviour has warned His people against deception upon this point, and has clearly foretold the manner of His second coming. “There shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.... Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth; behold, He is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:24-27, 31; 25:31; Revelation 1:7; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17. This coming there is no possibility of counterfeiting. It will be universally known-witnessed by the whole world." {Great Controversy 625.2} May God bless you as you continue to share God's Word.
Pastor, flaming fire is a signe of God coming from the sky, but we have a problem, revelation 13:11 till 16 is talking about the beast from the earth not Satan. The miracles where done by the beast, it is the beast that made fire come from the sky, not Satan.
There will NEVER be a time when all the world will be in agreement with the beast. God has His children everywhere, "other sheep which are not of this fold", they know something is wrong with all that is happening it is our responsibility to call them out of babylon. I guess there has to be a "shaking" into babylon first before there is a massive coming out. "I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." Rev. 3:11
Pastor Myers, I tend to agree with you on the king of the north in Dan 11:40 being Satan pretending to be Christ. However, I am concerned about the fact that you seem to downplay the Papacy's involvement in all this. The following quote, seems to me to indicate that the whole world will at some point worship the Papacy. "The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion is still far from being destroyed. And prophecy foretells a restoration of her power. "I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." Verse 3. The infliction of the deadly wound points to the downfall of the papacy in 1798. After this, says the prophet, "his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." Paul states plainly that the "man of sin" will continue until the second advent. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8. To the very close of time he will carry forward the work of deception. And the revelator declares, also referring to the papacy: "All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life." Revelation 13:8. In both the Old and the New World, the papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the Sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Roman Church. {DD 27.1}"

How do you see Satan "giving power to these entities" (the papacy etc) and thereby healing the wound when he himself returns in a fashion like we expect for the 2nd coming?
The wound was healed in 1801, when Napoleon re-established the Catholic Church. In 1798, Catholicism was dead, not wounded, the pope died in prison! Since that time, it continues to grow in strength. The focus today should not be primarily on Catholicism, but the "image" to that beast, protestants and Sunday worship.

It reads to me like it should be the USA from verse 11, but to make fire come down from heaven I would presume this is the dragon. Btw thank you for the studies I like your approach. The papacy will be active in the Old World. The image to that beast, Sunday worship by protestants, will be active in the New world (America)! So says the prophet, Ellen White. I don't offer my opinions, I echo her position. Catholicism will not play nearly as large a role in final events as many SDA think it will. The primary player in the end events is American Protestants, influencing the world.

The word of God teaches that the scenes are to be repeated as Roman Catholics and Protestants shall unite for the exaltation of the Sunday.” Pg 579 “And prophecy foretells a restoration of her power… Paul States, plainly that the man of sin will continue until the second advent. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8…. In both the old and the new world, the Papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Roman church.”

I thank God that many are seeking truth. This study caused me to reread The Great Controversy (chapters 35 thru 39.). EGW states that the Sunday law will be the final test to seal God’s people and to mark the disobedient.
Pg 605 “The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of God.”
Then mercy ends and Satan is given complete control which eventually leads to his impersonation of Jesus.
Page 613 “When the third angel’s message closes, mercy no longer pleads for the guilty inhabitants of the earth…his work is done…Then Jesus ceases his intercession…Every case has been decided for life or death.”
Page 614 “When He leaves the sanctuary, darkness covers the inhabitants of the earth. In that fearful time the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor. The restraint which has been upon the wicked is removed, and Satan has entire control of the finally impenitent. God’s long-suffering has ended. The world has rejected His mercy, despised His love, and trampled upon His law. The wicked have passed the boundary of their probation; the Spirit of Gods, persistently resisted, has been at last withdrawn. Unsheltered by divine grace, they have no protection from the wicked one. Satan will then plunge the inhabitants of the earth into one great, final trouble. As the angels of God cease to hold in check the fierce winds of human passion, all the elements of strife will be let loose. The whole world will be involved in ruin more terrible than that which came upon Jerusalem of old.
She then says we will not know when probation closes (pg 615). A death decree will be declared (615-616) and a time of Jacob’s trouble will ensue.
Pg 618 “…The Lord permits him (Satan) to try them (remnant) to the uttermost. Their confidence in God, their faith and firmness, will be severely tested.”
Pg 620 “Those who delay a preparation for the day of God cannot obtain it in the time of trouble or at any subsequent time. The case of all such is hopeless.”
Pg 624 “As the crowning act in the Great drama of deception, Satan himself will personage
Christ.”
So it reads to me that we are already sealed or marked before this final attempt by Satan. It will indeed be a time of deep anguish for the faithful, but they received the seal of God so they cannot be
moved.

I agree Pastor, it’s gonna take a miracle for deadly wound to be healed and the world to wonder after the beast. But what about the latter rain? Will it be before Satans counterfeit or during? What about the people in the world today who believe in God but still do their own thing? Will the latter rain come before Satan does so they can have a chance to escape the deception?

I think a lot of Adventists get excited when sermons are preached about the mark of the beast because that was the initial topic that drew them into the church in the first place. The beast topic gets sensationalized and is made exciting so learning of the righteousness of Christ and methodically looking at prophecies become boring and lack luster. It’s more about feelings and excitement and not about a settling into the truth.
"40 years and Nineveh will be destroyed!" by Jonah, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!" by John the Baptist, e.t.c. were these exciting messages? I think they were and should the loud cry of the 3rd angel by less exciting? The Church is sleeping... we need a wakeup call. When a sermon is preach on the "wrath of God!" I think if one is not excited, then there must be a serious problem.

Brother Myers, thank you for this series! But a couple of questions that I never thought about till now have come to mind. I'm reading from the NKJV. Question #1 Rev 13:3-5 "The wound is healed...The Whole World followed the beast...So they worship the Dragon....And he was given a month....to continue for 42 months...." Now hasn't the 42 months already happened? My problem that I've never seen before is that I can't find a break and jump back to the dark ages between vs. 3-5. Will there be another 42 months, maybe literal??? I'm not leading an agenda here. I am personally in question over this and it's bothering me. Question#2 Rev 13:13 "He performs great signs..." Who is the "He?" Sea Beast, Land Beast, or Dragon...? I've always been told that the Land beast is USA, but USA doesn't preform great signs and fire from heaven. We as a country are only divided more and more each day. The USA is not uniting anything. Thank You for any insight in this.

The Bridegroom symbolizes Christ coming correct? I've never heard the 10 virgins parable taught this way (heard it in context of investigative judgement, etc.), and I'm very interested to learn more about the details.

Jeff L I believe, pastor, that the local congregations need to focus on the Biblical truths, and Character development. The World has its own entertainments and sensations let’s not bring them in the Church, excuse me for saying it....but I was not brought up in the church and I believe that in the End Time we ought to be more and more spiritual. May I ask? Is a preaching from UFOs going to bring them closer to God?? And how? God does not want us to be pushed to him because of fear or anxiety. He can prove Himself to anyone and able to fill the God-Shaped vacancy that everyone feels till they really want to find Him.
My personal opinion, when I am looking for a good End Time sermon, that I need some good SDA material that my soul could feed on (and not just about political or economical news or what Iwas the Pope’s supper. I want balance and the Bible and NOT scarcity. I know it is going to be scary what is ahead of us, but let’s encourage each other. Let we learn how to get the strength when we think we are out of it. - I hope you do not mind that I said my honest opinion. One of my former pastors loved sensations.... and your thoughts triggered a reaction. ..(even though I am not from your flock.)

Overall this is some good teaching. However, for someone who is not from the SDA Church, but interested in learning from this teaching, it is somewhat difficult. I have been a born again Christian for many years, have studied the Bible for years and from particularly non-denominational and Assembly of God churches. You mentioned you don't want to go back or further elaborate on some points, and referencing SDA, is the teaching specifically tailored to SDA members as opposed to the body of Christ as a whole? I apologize if my question is not clear.

The last time I checked the end time signs in Matt. 24, pestilences and earthquakes were part of it. What is wrong with flagging a pestilence as a sign of the end time?

So you are saying we should wait till satan impersonates Jesus Christ before we preach Rev. 14:6-12? Do you think NSL will be tagged what it is? No! It will be cladded in deception. No, we are to preach the three angels message now, warn people now, spread the everlasting gospel now, without misinterpreting the message, or pointing to false signs that will reduce the seriousness of the message. Amen to that! As God’s people who are anticipating the soon return of Jesus, we ought to recognize that everything that goes on around us is part of the bigger picture. We cannot close our eyes to the methods that Satan is using to keep us from sharing the Three Angels message. As watchmen on the walls, our trumpets should give a certain sound to wake people up that time is running out. Maybe they will hate us for the truth we preach but in the end their blood will not be on our shoulders.

The deadly wound has been in the process of healing since Napoleon re-established the papacy in 1801. "Healing" is not "healed". The wound will ONLY be healed when the power to correct heretics unto death is restored. Worship on Sunday, by law, both in the old world (by the papacy, the beast) and in the new world (apostate Christianity, an image like the beast). Worship on Sunday and if you don't, then suffer severe punishment, even death. Then, and ONLY then, is the wound healed.

The SOP is the word of God they were inspired by God and from God. It's the same author. I don't believe in degrees of inspiration, it's either inspired of God or not.

Thank you Pastor for your research. However, I have a question. You've stated that the deadly wound has not been healed. However, Revelation 13:12 says "And he exerciseth all power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, WHOSE DEADLY WOUND WAS HEALED." Could you explain.
Also, it seems as if the "he" spoken of in Revelation 13:11-17 is referring to the 2nd beast/the United States, not Satan. You've stated that the "whole world will wonder after Satan, not the Pope." What Scripture(s) are you basing that concept on?
It's unclear since the Bible was not written in chronological, who the 'he' in Revelation 13:13 is referring to. But the 'he' in Revelation 13:12, 15, 16 seems to refer to the United States. Please explain in more detail.

The “dragon” in Revelation 12 is “both” Satan and Rome. One symbol is used to represent the main entity, Satan, as well as the main power he is working through at the time, which in this case, was Rome.
You are very right....I believe what you are saying too....Its America that causes the whole world to wonder after the first beast....America is the second beast and that's where the powers will be....We have been transitioning into the new world order for years and now we are seeing the fulfillment of all other countries coming together under different powers....its happens behind the scenes with the first beast making friendships with other religious leaders and world leaders...Ive been watching the pope since he was elected in 2013 and he has made his rounds and is doing his works for the last days....He meets up with all the world leaders and the media and celebrities and they are all on the same page...

Is it not possible for Muslims to begin keeping Sunday "if Mahommed appears" and tells them to do so and instructs them to worship the false Christ?
2) Does fire come down from heaven (Revelation 13:13) mean Satan will come with fire just as Christ shall come (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8)? Is not the fire that is associated with the second coming a result of Christ's glory? (Matt 16:27; Hebrews 12:29)? Satan will not be able to imitate this. I struggle to see Satan's appearance as being the coming down of fire from heaven. Is it not that Satan will appear to call down literal fire from heaven?
"We are coming right upon the time when Satan is to work with all manner of bewitching influences, and those who are charmed with them now, or give them the least countenance now, will be all ready to be swept right in to act a part with the devil then. Evil angels are working all the time upon the hearts of men. Satan is working with everyone who is not under the control of the Spirit of God. Pastor, flaming fire is a signe of God coming from the sky, but we have a problem, revelation 13:11 till 16 is talking about the beast from the earth not Satan. The miracles where done by the beast, it is the beast that made fire come from the sky, not Satan.
What about Revelation 16:13? It shows that the three unclean spirits like frogs come after the 6th plague?

There will NEVER be a time when all the world will be in agreement with the beast. God has His children everywhere, "other sheep which are not of this fold", they know something is wrong with all that is happening it is our responsibility to call them out of babylon. I guess there has to be a "shaking" into babylon first before there is a massive coming out. "I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." Rev. 3:11

Pastor Myers, I tend to agree with you on the king of the north in Dan 11:40 being Satan pretending to be Christ. However, I am concerned about the fact that you seem to downplay the Papacy's involvement in all this. The following quote, seems to me to indicate that the whole world will at some point worship the Papacy.
"The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion is still far from being destroyed. And prophecy foretells a restoration of her power. "I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." Verse 3. The infliction of the deadly wound points to the downfall of the papacy in 1798. After this, says the prophet, "his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." Paul states plainly that the "man of sin" will continue until the second advent. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8. To the very close of time he will carry forward the work of deception. And the revelator declares, also referring to the papacy: "All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life." Revelation 13:8. In both the Old and the New World, the papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the Sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Roman Church. {DD 27.1}"
Keep watching. I recognize the important role of the papacy. My only argument is that many are downplaying apostate protestantism and focusing only on the papacy.

By “vindicating” them as his true people, the “remnant” who kept the “commandments” of “God” and have the testimony of “Jesus”.
The wound was healed in 1801, when Napoleon re-established the Catholic Church. In 1798, Catholicism was dead, not wounded, the pope died in prison! Since that time, it continues to grow in strength. The focus today should not be primarily on Catholicism, but the "image" to that beast, protestants and Sunday worship.

The papacy will be active in the Old World. The image to that beast, Sunday worship by protestants, will be active in the New world (America)! So says the prophet, Ellen White. I don't offer my opinions, I echo her position. Catholicism will not play nearly as large a role in final events as many SDA think it will. The primary player in the end events is American Protestants, influencing the world.

Take the bible "just as it reads", says the prophet (EGW). It says the "whole world". The deception will take in every unsaved person regardless of their Church affiliation. Pagans, Muslims, Christians, Catholics, Hindu's, the "whole world". Except for: a remnant of the remnant who will follow God, no matter what.
