The only fix for him is a Delta
Two Wolfes with Upgraded Stats, and Brutal ATK% scaling bonus for him and Wolf on skill activation

No! There are to Many problem need to be resolve.
1. The wolfpack stat where you **HAVE** To maxed out the Vigil level, and all you get is slightly better than 2 star yato
2. The skill growth also Disappointing for 6 star
3. And A M A Z I N G Balancing team deserve to get slapped on their wrist cuz they're trolling

For me just make his wolf can attack 4 tiles around it. That would solve most of problem.
He doesn't need more damage. Just give his wolfpack a 1 tile range and some BIG survivability and it should make him at least worth being a 6*
The fact he didn't have those in the first place is what made him worse than his 5* and 4* counterparts.

wolfpack should have sanctuary effect that tied with how many head it has.

@@lebanana151 then what about make the sanc effect a lvl 1 mod, lvl 2 when 1 head were defeated the next one inherited 75% of the defeated stats, lvl 3 inherited 100% of the defeated head stats.stack until the head got revived. that would make it tanky in giving it more stat as the head were gone and balance by it only lasted until the head return
If youre unlucky and another head was dead, you will get more bigger chance to dodge, because its stacked.
As Vigil S1 enjoyer i accept this module, now as Vigil S3 enthusiast i need Beenstalk modules. And as Vigil S2 Biggest fans i need a delta modules

As vigil S1 enjoyer, this module needs to include arts dodge or simply add the dodge chance
As vigil S3 enjoyer, i want the skill duration to last a bit longer for like about 20s and generate 14DP
And as a vigil S2 enjoyer, i'm just gonna stop coping that HG is gonna fix vigil at this point
Vigil is still my default starter lane holder vanguard when going blind for new stages.
I have almost every 6* and I still prefer him over mountain since he brings so much for a single unit.
Sure that sometimes he falls short and I would love to see him being stronger but I'm still happy with him.
Same, Vigil s1 is my go-to laneholder for most stages when I'm not doing other niches~
isn't mumu better for blind stages since she's more flexible?

Let me clarify one thing: 15% damage reduction does not ‘fix’ the issue. Damage and damage reduction can scale infinitely for both characters and enemies, being tankier doesn’t mean being squishy is no longer a problem, in the same way that 40%atk extra arts damage doesn’t mean Silverash is suddenly better than mlynar. It’s an improvement, but it’s not something that can be ‘fixed’.
And Vigil remains the poster child of Nicheknights. Is his module good? Not for a regular player. Is his Module good _enough_ for his niches? Yeah, mostly. Because the problem with dodge RNG is that it can fail many times in a row. No skill or anything. Just bad luck. Still, it is a nice improvement to his baseline.
Vigil probably has likelihood of getting second Module (The one that raise his trait damage to 165% + enemies blocked by summon gain aggro.), and since this one might upgrade his DEF Ignore (Or maybe just +Wolf stat up.), do you think this one will suit him better or do you still prefer X's early 3 Head + Phys Dodge?
I honestly think that targeting correction, where he will prioritize enemies blocked by summon to be much better.
Edit: sorry I didn't read about other modules, but to be honest, when it comes to Vigil, often in general use, when using s3, he'll instead target low defense mob instead of the big tanky one his summons is blocking, which in turn, wasted his skill on useless targets. That's why if he has target prioritizing correction, as in mainly targeting unit blocked by its summon, it'll maximize his kit more especially with s3.
Target priorization would be such a great QoL improvement but with good planning it shouldn't matter that much.
He should get a way to ensure that the wolf's survive for his entire skill duration, that would put him on par with other 6* and now that W-alter exists even if his wolfs were immortal for the S3 duration he wouldn't be even remotely close to her in term of damage or utility.
I'd pick survivability (this current mod) if his next mod doesn't have one. What's the point of dealing more damage if his wolf is still squishy, unless they give another way of survivability on his next mod.
For now, we will just need to wait.
The problem with the wolfs was always that they died in one hit anyways
I’m happy with the mod since all I wanted was for his S3 to be better to use. I already considered him to be solid for annihilation maps since he can make dp and lane hold
I think his wolves is the key to fix him, maybe give wolves like 7 seconds resurrection and increase max head counts to 5 or something so at least with that he can be used as unbreakable blocker 😂

Bibeak, the operator with rhe most consistent stun in the game, does not have CC tag.
Tags are kind of nonsense its just how it is.
@@lunk2569 forgetting to put some corresponding tags while the said ops actually have them is fine, take for example manticore, her tags are just survival and nothing more while her kit actually has both slow and crowd-control which is fine
But vigil on the other hand, putting crowd-control tag irresponsibly while the said ops actually don't have any kit related to both his skill or module that signifies "crowd-control" is just purely a scam and i hate that for it
Honestly, i have been coping about how HG would gave my boy vigil his crowd-control kit from tactician module, but no.. all we got is just an upgrade of his wolf's survivability and it's not even DECENT, it's just SLIGHTLY DECENT. 50% only physical dodge for 10s after one wolf is dead is not good enough. At least give it 50% physical and arts dodge or 80% physical dodge only for 12s is decent enough for the compensation on his scam crowd-control tag 😭
I've written about this many times - wolves need an armor stack per head of ~12% ( at least ) of the starting value of Wolf Pack armor. This will be enough for longer survivability. I.e. for example if Vigil at lvl 60 = 297+35.64+35.64=368 which is not bad numbers. Yes, there is still the problem of low health in the Wolf Pack, but if the module would give in addition to evasion armor stacking as I wrote, it would be great 😔
I like this clear. It's so unconventional. Sure, it's a bit RNG, but it's always great to witness underrated units do things usually reserved for the "power houses."

It's nice that they fixed one of his issues but the problem is that it's VIGIL that they're trying to fix, the undertuned parts of his kit still stick out
Before the module announcement this module upgrade is what i hope for (evasion) but permanent. Unfortunately, this evasion buff have duration im kinda disappointed and i wish next module are better, i have all tactical vanguard and vigil is my favorite.

If HG really doesn't want to improve the wolf's survival capabilities, it might be better to just make it a mechanic. Like giving him a talent every time the wolf's stack decreases, the wolf attacks the enemy in four directions and then stuns them for 3 to 5 seconds.
When the wolf can't block too many enemies and runs out of HP, the stunt will give you time to clear the enemies. When dealing with Elite Enemy, the wolf can stall the enemy with each reduced stack for a total of 9 to 15 seconds.
This talent has quite a synergy with skill 1 and skill 3. Using skill 1 can make the wolf provide additional stun. Meanwhile, if you use skill 3, it will provide more optimal damage because the enemy will be blocked by the wolf for longer.
For the loss of damage that comes from the number of stacks the wolf has, perhaps additional talents such as Vigil and the wolf providing additional damage of a few percent when attacking a stunned opponent would be good.

I see that you used S3 for this, whatcha think though, is S3 generally 'worth it' at this point? Since I know previously people have mostly used him for S1 if anything since it's more consistent survivability. I already e2'd him forever ago but kinda stalled out on masteries, not likely to m6 but conflicted between the two. I guess it comes down to what you want him to do, but yeah. Curious on the thoughts of someone using him more.

On the real he’s not like Frostleaf who inherently has a kit that the game doesn’t need. On paper his kit is pretty good all things considered.
Like seriously, I wish HG didn't release 6* welfares at all, make Vigil, Lessing, and Silence NPC in their 1st events, and then just make events with banners of their own. I don't give a damn if they are free, when there's no point in raising them.
They are such great and good looking characters, but so what. My E2 Vigil is chilling in the trading post most of the time.

@kiszkjmt8564 theres no point raising most units... even a bad 6 star can carry most players because the game isnt that demanding.
Even a bad 6 star outperforms most of the 5*s that arent on the verge of meta, and the game only has a few maps that require more than 10 4 stars.
AK is a game where you make your own fun, and whether that is using low rarity or the best units, thats valid
@@lunk2569 Well, yeah, I think you are right. Design of strife is generally meant for veterans with Ceobe E2 max level M9 and such, and as long as I get the skin is fine, and even if I can't defeat last cm stage with Dolly on 1st run, because I lacked a bit of dmg, I can still do it on rerun. So investing in operators you like but aren't meta shouldn't be that big of the deal, especially when nearing to endgame.
Though I kinda wonder, will bringing maxed out Lessing or Vigil to IS be rewarding or frustrating af.
Civilight Eterna is the only great free 6* that isn't a AH or Rhine Lab
