- Superstar 3900 cb radio. This is the Ranger Superstar 3900. Setting it up with power supply and RM KL203p amplifier. Listen to SSB etc.
Can't beat the look of these "traditional" radio's there's an excellent frequency counter on the market for these 3900's
Totally agree, out of all my rigs I would say this is my first choice, followed by my old Harrier CBX. Yes, I've seen the frequency counters. Maybe I'll get one when I can spare the funds!
I wish my old radio was as nice looking as that.

I have just bought one of these Superstars with same Mic and internals (Malaysia made). How are you getting on with yours? Any issues with frequency drift. Would you buy another one? Thanks

Nice radio ....You did have a problem with focus I think.
Yes I did have a focus problem!! I may re take the video one day with my other camera. Glad you like the radio, it's my first choice of my collection.
Fine and coarse should be both at 12-00 oclock then use fine tune to bring others in who may be off slightly.
Turn the coarse to 9-00 oclock to move 5kc or to line up to any UK 40 CB channels you can pick up on bands E+F.
Lead by example as new commers to the side bands may use your video as a reference to DX on the skip and not know that if they use the coarse know to tune others that they will be movin off frequeny instead of using the fine tune.
