There is nothing like owning one's own piece of land. My hubby and I drove around a designated area... untill we found a place that just "FELT" right. We paid it off as FAAAAST as we could.. and step by step.. made it happen. Challenging at times? Oh yea. ... Worth it? Most definately.
What she doesn't tell you is that by doing owner financing or using a land broker, you will be paying 2 to 3 times the interest rate as you would going through a lender. It will cost you thousands of not hundreds of thousands over the life of the loan.
