What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. In Season 3, the vampires are elevated to a new level of power and will encounter the vampire from which all vampires have descended, a tempting Siren, gargoyles, werewolf kickball, Atlantic City casinos, wellness cults, ex-girlfriends, gyms and supernatural curiosities galore.

I actually cried when Collin Robinson died lmao. I was SO relieved and equally disturbed when I saw he was born again

As soon as Nandor pulled up his hand of goo, I thought... Metamorphosis.
I saw The Fly with Jeff Goldblum.
I noticed how they were highlighting Laszlo and Colin's friendship all throughout Season 3. Laszlo was even tolerating Colin's attempt of draining him and was laughing to his terrible jokes. I thought it was a cute bromance thing.
My heart broke after the revelation.
And a bit disgusted when I saw the baby.
But yay! Baby Colin!
It had nothing to do with the page rip for me, I literally thought Matt Berry was having a hard time with Covid! His performance was so subtle and something about him felt slightly wrong the whole season. Genius!!!
An energy vampire will be an interesting baby. It constantly needs attention and drains its caregiver but doesn't eat or poop.
As an energy vampire I presume pooping will be part of the draining energy.
The creepy Renesmee Colin Robinson baby is one of the best ideas the writers had. I cannot wait for the next season
Hope we get to find out more (in season 4 or 5) about all of their lore/history.
What I currently believe is that the history and lore of energy vampires is so boring/annoying that it’s been scrubbed from the records, not of malice, but of disinterest. (Even though I agree, I’d love to know more about them)
Do we need to? I'm getting a little tired of the prequels and explanations and exposition dumps in todays movies/tv series. So far this show is a 10/10 for me.
Season 4 is a MUST!!!!!!

I love this show it fills a hole in my heart that I didnt know was hiding
I think that it's entirely appropriate for an energy vampire to be depicted in the form of an infant. I've seen a tiny helpless baby singlehandedly absolutely wreck the nerves and devour the time and energy of a whole houseful of adults without even trying.
Fortunately, Sweet revenge comes within a familiar sentence.

Best comedy on TV, bar none.
i'm not usually keen on works of media that decide to give the main characters a baby to spice up the dynamic, but this show gets an exception bc making Colin Robinson the baby is the funniest possible way they could have introduced this storyline 😆

Not gonna lie, I totally cried for Colin Robinson! This was as bad for me as the death of Brian on Family Guy, it hits pretty hard.

This was my first time watching this season. I loved it. What really impresses me was in the next episode was how they change the opening scene.
Now I need to find the other seasons to catch up..sort of.

That fact that Harvey said at the end “3 vamps and a baby” cements the theory for me that he will be turned into a vampire (for me at least).

Why did they ruin Guillermo's ending?
drama, happy endings are boring and not good cliffhanger material. now we get to wonder what comes next. i don't think they will be seperated for long though. i could imagine a quick photo montage for nando traveling the world and visiting either completely boring or depressing sites
I wouldn’t say ruin. I mean in the end Guillermo shouldn’t be a Vampire. Let him continue his desire to be one but it’s bette for the story to keep him a Vampire Hunter.

What's funny is the actor who plays Nadja looks pregnant af and I wonder if that's why the direction of the show went this way

She's not pregnant, now, but with how she looked filming season 3 of Shadows, a lot of people think she had a baby in spring this year.

@@UFOUAPMagnet Also, look at her in series 3 of Stath Lets Flats that just dropped. She looks like a new mom recovering from giving birth. She's very full figured and her chest is huge (watchthe Finale),which she isnt known for that. She had just had a baby.
Somethimes the scenario is pretty bad, The shortcuts made out of laziness it's a shame otherwise the show is caught up by the actors fortunately !

i am obsessed with this show but this season was painfully bad....especially the finale :(
Was anyone else extremely disappointed this season with Colin Robinson? And I don't just mean how the final episode ended, I mean his characterization felt off throughout the whole season and his jokes weren't landing. It didn't feel like him anymore, and Colin was my favorite character on the show. And now his final season was a bad send off, if it had been good I wouldn't be as upset about his death. Left a sour taste in my mouth, and I don't think I'll watch season 4
Just making sure for your sake, did you watch episode 10? Episode 9 is when Colin died, but it wasn't the end of the season. Colin Robinson is also my favorite character, he really has the most laugh-out-loud moments for me.

@@dicedude1071 No worries! Just wanted to make sure you knew. If you're interested in seeing how the season's story resolves, there's a twist at the end of 10 involving Colin Robinson. But yeah i completely get it if you'd rather just not, this season's humor was different for sure, and although i liked the change, i can definitely see why it wouldn't be for everyone

@@kingjellybean9795 it's the point that he's obnoxious, and those have been landing wonderfully in seasons 1 and 2. I know people just like him and it's a hilarious comparison and explanation. This season, he just didn't feel the same. It's hard to put into words. Lots of more sexual stuff and less of his jokes were more about annoying the people around him
