I think Lisa Marie meant right when they first divorced. I'm sure by 9 she understood. But apparently they were cooperative coparents and Elvis remained friendly with Priscilla and talked to her frequently. She knew him longer than any woman in his life but for his mother. I think Lisa Marie meant right when they first divorced. I'm sure by 9 she understood. But apparently they were cooperative coparents and Elvis remained friendly with Priscilla and talked to her frequently. She knew him longer than any woman in his life but for his mother. He had hang up about sex with her after Lisa's birth and Priscilla needed to become her own person . So I'm sure at the time she needed to divorce him to have a life . Well Lisa Marie really did say that. She was only 4 when they divorced, Elvis and Priscilla remained very good friends. So to a 4 year old it didn't seem as if they were divorced.
