Yeah, I noticed her right away too. Seems like she's been around for a few years already so I was surprised to see her. I guess being an "all-star" means you can play in school of rock as long as you want?
Yes they can if you actually listen to Richie Sambora playing. In the 80's I played loads of Bon Jovi in cover bands and was told I sounded exactly like him using simple gear. British amp needed so no Peavey or Fender.
@@RBcymru I've played with a little band, and we did street carnivals and proms. This was one of the easier songs to learn and sing. I did lead vocals on this one. Most of the time I played some rhythm, keys, or backup vocals.
These kids are amazing! They give this song a ride , that is for sure. To see kids enjoying themselves like this does my heart good. The bass player Nate has been on other songs like Carry On My Wayward son, I love watching him, he is 'I got this' kind of cool vibe. The vocals are suitably gritty for the song, well done!
Dude, I SWEAR every time I think you guys can't impress me anymore, you blow my mind yet again. This was freaking amazing gang, wow! I always like to give special shoutouts though, and in particular I always enjoy putting in the spotlight those often missed. With that in mind, a special shoutout to the drummer (yes I know THAT person is in the spotlight, but my man was awesome). Second, the bassist was absolutely holding it down. Great job sir! Third, while everyone always focuses on the lead guitarist, especially if there is a flashy solo, I think my man on rhythm guitar deserves a special mention. We see you bro, back there keeping the groove going. Well done. Finally, a special shoutout to my man on the backing vocals. Yes, the young lady also sounded fantastic, but I especially appreciated his "bad name" echoes that he kept giving just behind the lead singer. It could be easy to not take that seriously or feel silly singing that echo, but he took it seriously and did a phenomenal job as well. Keep rocking kids, you're amazing. 👊👊👊👊👊
The logical evolution of what began in the 60's... "The Garage Band"... now NEW and IMPROVED and ON STEROIDS! Fantastic job by all, especially loved the lead vocal and the music bed, and yeah, the drummer was Superman! Great job of filming and mix-down as well.
These are some very gifted young musicians and I love every performance I've seen! I think there was an editing thing during the second verse, but the whole band just rocked a classic and if you're going to cover a classic, you better nail it. Congratulations, you all did and then some!!
That was one the best covers that you guys have ever done. Excellent job. The lead singer and guy on the white strat were outstanding. A wee bit of reverb in the vocal mix would have been good but overall ..excellent
Bon Jovi is incredibly difficult to do a cover for. This group knocked it out of the park. Great job kids! If you can do this, you can easily make a living in Rock. Now the hard part is writing your own songs that are this epic. Good job and good luck in your future.
Interesting to see a 6 string bass guitar as well as Malory on acoustic even though I don't recall hearing acoustic unless it was also going through a distortion pedal.
Great song, great performance, but one hick up in the lyrics :) The first 'A school boy's dream, you act so shy Your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye' should have been a 'Paint your smile on your lips Blood red nails on your fingertips'
When I first started my live audience DJ show performances lasting 25 years this was the hot song and I played it often pointing at everyone in the crowd yelling YGLABN! and they would sing pointing back at me.. good times! DJ-DOUG-DJ (retired.. : ) ⚜
They did such a good job on this song! I’m a student at the School of Rock in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. I’m a drummer, and I’m in the adult program. I love going to the School of Rock, but I wish there were more people around my age in the adult band. Everyone else in the adult band is in their 40s and 50s and I’m only 21, so I feel like I can’t really connect with anyone in the adult band. I was hoping I would get to make friends with people around my age at the School of Rock because I’m autistic, so it’s hard for me to make friends. I think I would fit in a lot better with a band like the one in this video. I obviously can’t be in a band with the younger people at the School of Rock, like the kids or the teens, because I’m 21, so that would probably be pretty weird. It would be cool if the School of Rock had a program specifically for young adults. I would definitely be able to make friends around my age if there was a program like that. Anyway, I think that’s enough about me. The people in this video did a great job performing this song 👍
I grew up in the 80’s. This is my music, and the best years of my life. These kids knocked it out of the park. Jon BonJovi would be proud. Keep on bringing back the 80s in your own style kids and you’ll be big soon enough.
Hey, one of my favorite School of Rock guitarists dressed up all in black for this number! She was smiling all the way!
Yeah, I noticed her right away too. Seems like she's been around for a few years already so I was surprised to see her. I guess being an "all-star" means you can play in school of rock as long as you want?
Yes she is a badass!
That would be the amazing Mallory of course! TALENTED GIRL!!
Another superb performance from School of Rock rock stars! Love it!
Nice gritty lead vocal. Kudos.
Keep the good music going.
Awesome job! The drummer nailed it!!
Yes bon jovi can't be copied easily. These kids rose above that, made it theirs, and knocked it out of the park. It felt like 1987 to me.

Dude they're the most straight forward band to cover. They're literally on the setlist of every local coverband.

These kids are awesome! Great performance!

Great job you boys and girls !!!
So fun! It takes me back to a younger me and it was a nice visit...lol
I'm buying anything she ever sings, this is respect. Also i think Mallory is having fun no matter the song and that's awesome.
I wish something like this was available when I was their age. This rocks!
I can’t wait to see this!😊😊🎉🎉
Dude this drummer is on point! Nice rendition by this crew. Keep rocking!
Yes, nailed it! Think Bon Jovi would be so happy. Rock on everyone! 🤘
I enjoyed this recording very much! Great vocals and outstanding musicianship provides a great musical experience! Will Ortiz
Put kind of a "Smooth Criminal" beat to it.
There's a lot to like about this performance!
Nice job!

Interesting to see a 6 string bass guitar as well as Malory on acoustic even though I don't recall hearing acoustic unless it was also going through a distortion pedal.
Awesome ❤❤❤
A jaw-dropping performance. Very impressive.
Never was much of a fan of this overplayed song back in the day. I am a fan of this! Holy cow this breathed new life into this power ballad. Amazing.
Great 🤘
The chorus harmony is great.
Great job! 👏👏
Great song, great performance, but one hick up in the lyrics :) The first 'A school boy's dream, you act so shy Your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye' should have been a 'Paint your smile on your lips Blood red nails on your fingertips'
The musicians were incredible.
Rockin!
Maravilloso ¡! 🇪🇦🤘🏼🇧🇷🎶🎵🎼🎸🥁🤗🤗😍😍

Stick with it. You never know who will cross your path. Don’t discount those older members - they may have 20-something family members.
Good performance
Got the lyrics a little mixed up during the second verse
Oh, nice tracks... Haha😮🎉😂❤
Come on.....give Mallory an electric guitar. The acoustic doesn't cut it for her!
DAM GOOD JOB
MORE Daniella!!!
Is Daniella brazilian?
👋👋👋👋🇧🇷🤘
WEST IS BEST!!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I like the main vocalist, but Jon Bon Jovi’s vocals are hard to replicate.
Nice, but what was up with repeating half the verse? And no pinch harmonics?
whats the acoustic guitar doing in the song ? rather redundant isnt it?
Jon Bon Jovi, if you don't hear this and fall down, just retire.
school boyss dream 2 vezes é foda... mas, vocal top
Am I the only one who used to think the lyrics were, "Shot through the heart, and you're too vain"? Yeah, that was me. :/
i see a prs holcomb i like
