I can't blame any artist for wanting to pursue their next journey. They left us with some amazing things to enjoy.

Conheci Grizzly Bear em 2009 com a MTV Lab Now (programa de TV Brasileira) , oque pra mim foi a melhor canal de clips, mesmo já beirando a decadência aquela altura. a vibe melancólica do Grizzly me comprou tive uma adolescência difícil, ninguém que eu conhecia escutava isso e pra não sofrer bullying eu ouvia escondido. hoje 13 anos mais velho meu gosto musical segue a cultura de cada estado que vou morar, mas carrego no peito sons como dessa banda e só exponho para públicos que apreciam o gênero.
I met Grizzly Bear in 2009 with MTV Lab Now (Brazilian TV show), which for me was the best clip channel, even though it was already on the verge of decadence at that time. Grizzly's melancholy vibe bought me I had a difficult adolescence, no one I knew listened to this and to avoid being bullied I listened in secret. Today, 13 years older, my musical taste follows the culture of each state I'm going to live in, but I carry in my chest sounds like this band and I only show it to audiences who appreciate the genre.
Entendo muito a parte "...ninguém que eu conhecia escutava isso e pra não sofrer bullying eu ouvia escondido...", pois quando conheci a banda também foi na MTV (que no meu caso foi em 2011), e estava no ensino médio. Mas desde então sempre acompanho a banda, até hoje escuto essa música (e outras da banda também). Sigo muito o estilo deles, não é a toa que também sigo Lana Del Rey, Tame Impala, Arcade Fire (que puxa um pouco tbm) e por aí... E assim vamos crescendo e refletindo mais sobre as músicas...

nirvana was indie. radiohead's range of songwriting far surpasses grizzly bear (for now) and they were humongous. at the drive in. the breeders. for awhile good indie music was popular. father john misty's doing pretty well.

the creative imagination of this music video is really quite a depressive reality most of us must have faced or have gone through at some point in a western world. trying to achieve your dreams and failing, then falling into a state of drowning hopelessness we must try to breach out of.
to only fined ourselves wondering the world to regain the desire to set out what we once wanted so bad...and once its achieved you only realise that when you get home your trapped, in what seems to be the endless cycle of your youthful efforts that come screaming back at you 6:00am every morning.
