Etsy is disgusting. This is why it’s important to use Etsy as an “outpost” and funnel them to your own website. Direct fans and customers to your social media and from there drive them to your personal website. The whole reason why I don’t use other print on demand sites is because they show competitors on the sellers page. It is such a huge turn off. Good video! Could you do an in depth video walking us through shipping? As a Canadian seller, this was something I found the hardest and made me very hesitant about following through with my shop. I felt stuck and confused for 2 years due to the very minimal information on the subject. I wish there were more Canadian videos on shipping that holds our hands and explains it to us like we are five. I find Etsy’s shipping confusing and different from my personal site. I’d love to know if I could be doing something better and would love to see how you set it all up. Just something to consider.😅 Thanks for everything you are teaching us. Wishing you much more success with your stores!❤
This is probably a manipulative tactic by Etsy to make it appear as though the increased fees were due to them driving traffic to your products. They know people feel helpless when trying to drive traffic to their products, so they likely created this deceptive option to silence sellers.
Wow, your videos are so well put together with fantastic information! From one Canuck to another, thank you! I am just starting out on my venture and would love information from a Canadian perspective on Payment Processors. Keep up the good work!
What if the customer that bought from you was looking at your competitor’s listing but then they scrolled down and saw your listing on their product page so it can kinda work both ways if you think about it double edge sword I guess
Hi tim, great video. My only concern is that I have to edit my existing posts with shop links, and that's quite a time consuming task. (200 listings, with existing social media posts and links). I don't have too much of a problem with their recs of other shop items, since I assume that my listings are also advertised on other shops upon checkout. I will also say, after developing my own site, I feel like their fees are not too bad.
I HATE IT, DIDN'T RESPOND TO "invite" to try it...HORRIBLE IDEA. Oh I'm talking aobu the one where CUSTOMER "suggests a price" WTF??? Have you don't video on that yet?

Yes! I struggled with shipping too - still am unsure if I'm doing it right, lol.
I will make a shipping video! :)

You know I didn’t even think of this! I often wonder how skewed my analytics are.

Tnx
How to get your link which I share and get 40 listings free???
sounds like they're losing sellers?
Why shouldn’t everyone just accept it if it’s a good program? Even tho you have your own site you’ll still be selling on Etsy to right?
Definitely can just join it and continuing sending traffic to your own website if you have it!
