For people afraid to try Rosalia because you heard she requires micro, don't be! You basically only have to swap her weapons like twice per game, once when she unlocks the grenade launcher and then swap her back to laser once you have better towers to clear big bunches.
Thanks for noting at the end that Corvus can easily be the best Hero if you're a micro god. He is BROKEN right now for most Expert maps if nourishment is spammed
I disagree with the placement of Churchill relative to Quincy. I agree that they are comparable but I think Quincy is strictly better since he at least helps make the early game easy and doesn't require an energizer to be a truly effective DPS hero in the late game. Also since you don't need the energizer you can put more money into giving him other buffs which Quincy responds better to than arguably any other hero. A fully buffed Quincy is at least as strong as a lvl 20 Churchill in most cases.
I'm not a huge fan of either hero, but a quincy being buffed definitely doesn't come close to a lvl 20 Churchill's damage. Maybe if you super-buff it but you aren't really able to super-buff in chimps. I still agree Quincy is better, but saying a buffed lvl 20 quincy would beat a lvl 20 Churchill doesn't sound right to me.
@@nicjoy4407 personally I have found that Quincy + drums + MIB + Perma Brew seems to do as much or more work than Churchill + drums + MIB + Berserk Brew + Overclock + Energizer for a comparable price.
@ Trying both of these strats on rounds 95-100 of another brick in sandbox mode, lets see which loses less lives. Churchill - 967,030 lives remaining Quincy - 915, 778 lived remaining Quincy lost about 2.5x the lives. I don't think this test is anywhere indicative of a normal game, as you'd have other support as well, but at least in this test churchill swept the floor with Quincy

I would agree with the corvus one. He can be extremely powerful if you know how to use him, but a casual player is probably better off using sauda or a less complex hero like geraldo. Anyway W List
I would rank Adora slighty higher because she ignores walls on top of having a huge range (especially with lvl3). On some harder maps this is extremely valuable since she can hit multiple lanes that other heroes cannot
I am shocked at the Etienne placement. I am not an Etienne main, but ive only heard good things about him and ive heard so many times that he's a very strong hero that makes some difficult maps way easier and his level 8 abilty is imo incredibly strong. Getting camo detection might be easy, but its saving you so much money. Maybe i need to start playing him more to see if ive been lied to
Why use a hero to get camo when you can spend 4k on a village. All heros, even Ben have more than 4k worth, and other than his camo, he doesn't offer that much else. Hell, he can't even pop ddts until lv20. 😅

Gwen also has the means of popping camo bloons with both of her abilities. Yeah Rosalia's Lv10 ability is a nerfed version of Brickell's Lv10 ability. Churchill...how about a little more! How can anyone not like Pat, Pat is just so cool. Ezili, probably the best R100 counter of any tower. Seeing Sauda do her Lv10 ability on Balance is so satisfying, so many swords! Geraldo, best 2MP supporting hero (though I love Jones because I love Mortars).
Oh I love Etienne thinking he was very cool and very fun to use and not spamming x2x villages every game but I guess idk what's actually good in this game. Great list tho, thanks for making it
Truth is, his ability to never have to worry about Camo Ballons kicks but in many strats. There are technically better options, but sometimes global camo detection is just too good to pass up. (Especially if your main damage towers are too far away or to spread out for a money village/submarine.) {I'm thinking aircraft carriers or bloody puddles.}
Putting Corvus below Geraldo for chimps is criminal. One hero that requires constant monetary support to be viable, his best feature is not available and his buffing abilities are short and often lackluster (like pickles) And the other that can literally solo even expert maps into the midgame and endgame with slight support... all that for 1000$. Maybe I am just a Corvus stan... but he is, together with sauda CLEARLY S-tier... while geraldo is just nice to have.
I think Adora is my favorite hero design (my favorite to actually use is psi). She does not feel super different from everything else like Gerry or Corvus (not a bad thing but I enjoy when they make more simple heroes/towers still have more depth to them) and sacrifice has so much utility it's nuts. It can be used to turn useless early game towers into xp, also freeing up that space for other towers to go. Finding the balance of how much to spend on sacs opens the door to a lot of strategy in chimps mode. She also takes a good bit of skill to use compared to some other heroes, because using her abilities at the wrong time can be run ending even more so than other heroes.
Not entirely worthless because he has use for reducing RBE for perma spike, but even then Ezili does can do something similar, has a passive attack, and does not lose you money
I don't think that's a good combo really. Sauda already will reach level 20 on most maps, the cooldown reduction is really not that useful for Sauda, and energizer's damage is best for cleaning up bloons, the exact reason you'd use Sauda. I don't intend to sound rude, but Sauda just doesn't really synergize with energizer at all.
Geraldo is seriously the best hero in the game. He can just keep getting stronger and stronger. I've maxed buff flying fortress with everything and then I add the sharpening skills and I basically saved enough money to paragon 99 on most monkey just because of Geraldo's shop.
The problem with Geraldo is his management for a casual player this can be a lot to take in. Not only do you need to know when he gets something but how much he has in stock and their price. His items are good but considering that most of them are temporary you are sometimes just better off buying a new tower that does do the same as his items.
ngl ezili should be B, something you completey missed is the fact that she instakills round 100 at level 20 which is usually cheaper than round 100 defense
@MrCube42 and I'm also referring to chimps, on most maps you can place her early enough so you can just buy level 20 on round 100 for less than 15000, which is cheaper than a first strike, and in most ezili setups, you would need more than just a first strike
@@doreoisbadPretty sure that this is only the case for advanced maps, and beginner and intermediate you're way too far off, and expert you'd just get it without spending. I'd have to get a hero xp calculator, but I think it's a lot better to just invest in round 100 towers.
God this list is ass compared to the other ones. Sauda claps most of the game. So does corv if you micro him good enough. Not to mention you forgot a LARGE sum of information on most of the heros
Another strategy for striker that i can see being viable is a perma-spike strat, because of his 25% pierce buff, but i haven't tested it so i don't know how good it is
Etienne was done dirty he is a great hero for black borders because early game which is where he sucks in isnt hard and he removes the worry of dealing with camo baloons mid game daving some money he also starts doing good damage plus he doesn't need to be the big cluster since most biffs dont effect him and late game while yes level 20 does end the rounds to early its not a problem since he is destroying most bloons he is great for mid and late just not early game
Hero tier list for black borders. So with that being the case maybe it should be judged by which hero you would use by maps because let's be real I would use Sauda for as long as I can and maybe Obyn in the early maps but that would drop off on the more advanced maps. Then you've go specialists like Brickell which would be Peninsula only. Then there are others I would never use for black borders like Churchill so I think you have to be a bit more specific on top tier what, except for The shopkeeper of course.

The whole point of a tierlist is to rate the powerlevel potential of an entity at it's best. A hero being hard to use like Corvus has no impact on the placement, otherwise it isn't a black border CHIMPS tierlist, but a ''which hero is easier to use for a beginner in CHIMPS'' tierlist.
I think the fact that Brickell is limited by water should put her down a tier. Not only do you need water to use Brickell, but you need a good amount of it for your other towers. Most expert maps aren't giving you as much water as you want, think of maps like Ravine for example. This limitation should be counted, as the amount of begginner and intermidiate maps with tons of water doesn't really matter when in those your hero choice matters less.

then what can she do after that? once you get 5th tier ace/heli, she cant give buffs like other heros, cuz it seems as nk is focussing on her damage rather than her support
This video is for the other 99% of BTD6 players. Maybe viability is different for the best of the best, but those players don’t need a tier list to know what works.
Are you mad just because jernadol is a little bit better than sauda? First, sauda is only good if there is a good spot at the map for she, so she can't fully perform on many advance and expert map
Hate Micro, don't care how good they are. The most Id do as far as Micro is when to time abilities or making correct placements. People call it a skill issue but this isn't the first BTD game, and other heroes are not so bad that you require the one of two micro heroes on harder maps

I loved Etienne too, but there are already so many good options for anti-camo that his niche is obsolete in most cases.

Any single lane map. Sure. Its gonna fall off fast when tracks get harder though. Most strats work on 1 lane, don't need to mention them all.

then what can she do after that? once you get 5th tier ace/heli, she cant give buffs like other heros, cuz it seems as nk is focussing on her damage rather than her support

Yeah this is all wrong please check out the official tierlist made by pro players that do expert chimps as a warmup.
This video is for the other 99% of BTD6 players. Maybe viability is different for the best of the best, but those players don’t need a tier list to know what works.

Hate Micro, don't care how good they are. The most Id do as far as Micro is when to time abilities or making correct placements.
People call it a skill issue but this isn't the first BTD game, and other heroes are not so bad that you require the one of two micro heroes on harder maps
