just recently got a vr capable computer and h3vr was one of the first things I got I didn't realize how arm destroying the snow map was until I played it.
What I learned from watching and playing this character.. it was designed to be played like PUBG; have 2 guns (and a pistol), and be ready to abandon a gun at any time, or not even pick them up
Nice to see more main channel content! I try to watch these videos as well even after seeing the streams on the second channel; anything that helps your channels grow can only be a good thing lol!
Great run Jedi, I've found the early few rounds to be quite brutal but it's an interesting character and changes the game quite a bit having no ammo stations or tokens
Hey Jedi, been playing this character a lot lately, can’t figure out the heals though! The bandages, syringes, red bull cans and pills etc. The big medkit you can just eat but tried everything with the rest and can’t get it! Fun game though, credit to SirPotatoes, he’s given a lot to the community!
Yeah I played it back in the day, this mode brings me back! I mean how do you physically use them lol I tried eating the bandages, pulling them apart, fake wrapping them, all my joystick commands but only every get the medkit to “eat” lol. Thanks for the reply!
@@CollyWobbles357 ahh sorry! Everything can be eaten, if it is able to heal you higher than what you are currently at. Even the bandages. Not sure why it wouldnt be working otherwise.
I love seeing you do characters based off video games there's a Fallout one named Mojave Marvin that you might enjoy doing it on a cowboy or post-apocalyptic map
jedi i have to ask, how did you get this custom character working when the Deli mod for h3 has been discontinued and basically all the character mods depend on that for them to work properly, also great video!
Deli has been depreciated, but a lot of the character mods work thanks to the systems that came after it. If you go to thunderstore.io and get R2MM, it will get you everything you need to get mods up and running

@Sebastian Cuevas you can actually still run the depreciated version and run characters. It's what I do with R2MM. Modul Marcline and John Wurst to name two off the top of my head. It may be depreciated, but it still runs with the current build of H3VR.

How am I only now learning that the MRS red dot sight has an adjustable sight picture? The sight picture alone is the reason I dodge it and pick a Tijicon, an EOTech or a Compact over it
yup! There is a slot specifically for them on your back - you should get a small haptic feeback when you hover over it while holding a backpack to it. It can be easier to look down and put the backpack through your body for some - I think specifically quest users have an easier time with this so you dont lose tracking
Oh God I miss h3 so much My index cable has been dead for months now and I got unlucky with my Valve representative and got someone who stuck with warranty protocol. So now I have to buy another 150 dollar replacement. God knows I'm going to treat it better though. First off turnsignal is going and being replaced with something that doesn't drift. No point in the thing if it does.
Oh no! I am on my second replacement cable myself. I think I made this one last longer by unplugging it more carefully (using the hard plastic pieces instead of pulling on the cable itself) but I think these things are just prone to die.
I have a pc capable of running h3vr but I don’t have an extra 1000 dollars laying around for a vr headset, would an oculus quest 2 work? Is it supported? I’ve used it to run phas vr and Minecraft vr but idk if h3vr would support it.
Yes, you can stream it from your PC to the Quest using either Link (wired), Air Link (Quest official wireless solution) or Virtual Desktop (third party solution that everyone seems to favor over Air Link)

That might be a framerate thing. I swear that I never had that issue, then I started to around the release of the index. Sometimes its okay, sometimes it really bad. I've not found an actual solution or answer though, sorry.
@@jeditobiwan just found out from anton what the issue is! "The variable framerate is the problem. I suggest running the game at 90 refresh rate, and configuring your settings such that the game holds 90 without dipping into reprojection." I'm pretty sure that means the issue is async reprojection, which makes sense to me lol

I'm not entirely sure since I don't use my Quest to play very often. Are you running any recording software? And have you grabbed new drivers from www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/
The biggest factor is the vanilla characters difficulty curve hasnt ramped up in limited ammo. Save for calico, all you need to do is survive the first hold or two and you are golden because limited ammo has a lower enemy count.

@@matthewlaxon828 modded characters tend to be tougher or not have a separate limited ammo enemy count. Pmc pete is a very punishing one on limited ammo!
You have to be using one of the H3VRmour quickblets (in the options panel under quick belts, there should be extra ones that say H3VRmour, including a second page of them) and then if you look at your waist belt, youll see a new slot near your left rear. That is where the armor goes.

I just use tp for going around large areas then turn on armswinger when I get to a close quarters area

The med kits and bandages only take you up to like 3750 health - you need the pills or red bull to get back to 5k, close to actual PUBG!
