I just tried this mod with my kid after seeing your vid, it was a lot of fun. We played some Take n Hold and he ended up killing me after a while, then we played some Gun Game (which I finally got working lol) and that was pretty fun too. It works really well but I noticed whenever he'd sprint it would lag the entire game
Interesting! Might be some patching wonkiness with the custom map. Arpy, the mod creator, seems to be keeping an eye here, so maybe it'll get looked into!
Modding for this game is getting absolutely insane, combined with Antons support for both the game, and willingness to help modders, I can see this game being the like new vegas of VR. I'm stoked for it

New game mode idea using this mod, the drone has to complete an obstacle course while the player attempts to shoot it down. Like halo duck hunt for the ogs here :)
H3VR is one of the games that needs some kind of built-in multiplayer as do a lot of games I hope Bone labs gets Quest compatible Multiplayer after it comes out I understand incorporating Multiplayer isn't the easiest of things to add in most VR games so it makes sense why a lot of games don't have it

Really neet to see, i hope this is just the seeds that will grow eventually into a propper multiplayer mod. I mean, the character rigs are allready made, its a matter of networking, and patching issues regarding AI combat and PVP.

I get the feeling he doesn't *really* like interacting with the fanbase. As to why there won't be multiplayer, from what I understand there's no practical way to implement it. There's too many complicated physics simulations going on at once, and syncing all of the necessary stuff just isn't possible. This mod works by having it be locally hosted, while the other player gets remote control of your computer (which is not a good way to do multiplayer, just the only way this mod can achieve it).
True multiplayer won't happen for a plethora of reasons - physics calculations and network latency, plus the fact that the game was never built with that in mind. Even LAN mods with two VR players on two machines ran like garbage when people attempted to mod it. This is about as close as we will get.

Question about the mod, is there any way to get two audio sources? EG the person playing on PC hears their own audio and the person on VR hears their own? Or am I stuck with both of us hearing the same audio?
Fun little tip, you can leave the loading gate open on the henry 1860. Was getting tired of opening and closing it then realized: Wait I don't have to open it all the time? Does not interfere with the front post.

Question as a sosig can you pick up weapons that the player doesn't use say you roll a shotgun that you don't want can the other player pick it up and use it or is that not a thing yet?
there is a "crazy mode" that arpy is actually using here that lets you possess any item. I dont think you can fire guns, but you'd be able to roll around as one lol. Edit: Arpy has proven me wrong below!
@@jeditobiwan oh you definitely can :P most guns at least. It'll really make you think twice before checking the barrel to see if your revolver is loaded. There's a few other interactions as well, I'd suggest keeping your grenades well away from a particularly evil player.

Jedi someone else asked this, but is there any way to make it so that the PC user hears their own audio while the VR user hears theirs? Me and my gf have been playing this but she's on the PC stuck hearing what I'm hearing.
No way that im aware of. That would involve some additional work by the mod author, and im not even sure how straightforward a separate audio output for asynchronous multiplayer is in unity.
If they are trying to play remotely, you need extra software called Parsec to make it work. There should be a tutorial on the thunderstore site for the mod to get everything up and running
is it just me or has the tracking system become worse recently? i just got another 2 trackers for a proper 4 lighthouse 2.0 setup, and the tracking seems to be worse than how i remember with 2 lmao

In the spectator settings, you mean? You might need to select a different sosig outfit, some of them can get busted if you are running mods.

I've had some issues recently too. Not sure why. I do have one base station behind on firmware though.
