Thanks Bob! I guess she’s now in the ‘Beach Barber’ club with you!!! 🥳 Y’all are both some lucky devils, that’s for sure! Hope you’re doing well. Miss you guys a lot!
Thanks man! Definitely didn’t expect THAT coin to show up. But as you know, that’s how it goes sometimes… Unexpected coins in unexpected places. If you get back to digging, let us know! Maybe we can do some door knocking together this Fall. Until then, take care bro!
Just found your channel and enjoyed the hunt in Kentucky! The fob item with the harvesting machine is probably from the St. Louis World Exposition of 1904. That is the "Fair" that gave the world the Ice Cream Cone. I found my very first silver at Forest Park in St. Louis and it was a War Nickel! Good Luck!
Thanks for checking out our channel! Glad you’re enjoying our videos. After a bit of research, I was able to find out the same thing about the fob. It is indeed from the St. Louis World’s Fair of 1904. - Pretty cool that your first silver was from St Louis. Everybody always remembers their first. Mine was a Rosie! 😊 GL&HH!!!
You should search online and see if there are any metal detecting clubs that meet-up near you. Most of the major cities & metro areas in Texas have them. That would be a good way to meet some folks who are more knowledgeable about potential sites and hunting locations specific to your area.
Unfortunately we have work and other responsibilities that keep us from going out as much as we’d like to, which ultimately means less footage recorded and less content created. Also, I usually sit on footage until there’s enough to make a decent video, because I’d rather release several good lengthy videos in a year than lots of short piddly ones. Maybe that’ll change at some point, but right now that’s where we’re at. Thanks for watching and good luck on your digs!!!
I live in Palmer Texas just 15 south of Dallas. I love to metal detect however I have no idea where to search. Can you please give me any ideas? Or, if you ever want a visitor, please let me know! Linda W/Forgottenferals
Old city parks, old schools and public fairgrounds are all great places to start detecting and usually don’t require getting any sort of permission. That being said, those places have also been hunted pretty hard over the years due to their ease of accessibility, so the finds are usually few and far between. If you want a better chance of finding old stuff, I’d recommend searching around old houses, old churches and other properties with some historical significance which will require getting permission from a property owner. Good Luck & Happy Hunting!!! Cody ~ R.S.
Old cameo ring. Get in that water and get the old gold. , plenty of time for the coins. The old gold rings will be in the water. Stop wasting the time on the silver coins. You got a goldmine of gold antique rings right next to you!
Hard to tell for sure, but you could be right. It’s not an ideal water-hunting scenario though. Lots of silt and clay on the bottom. Might be worth a try though. Otherwise, we’ll just have to wait for the water level to come down.
If you watch our other videos, you’ll notice that we usually spray our coins with water when we’re land hunting… especially on older sites. We used to do that on lake hunting videos too, but people starting commenting that it was really unnecessary since they’ve been washing around in sand and gravel for 70+ years. So, what can ya do?…. 🥺sigh…
Enjoyed watching
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!!

How come yall don't post videos more regularly? I'm a north texas hunter as well and am amazed at the great history that comes up.

Didn’t SEE the coin found at the end of video. WHAT was it ??
A 1916 Barber Quarter!
Now if that lake level will just go down a few feet.......
With this summer heat, it won’t take long…
Is that a die crack on the war nickel?
Not sure… I’ll have to give that one a closer inspection. 🤔
Congratulations on the Mercury dimes,Barber,Buffalo’s and that great early 1900’s token and tax token👋👍
Thanks y’all! Appreciate you watching. Hope you’re both having fun in the ‘sandbox’ and finding some goodies in the ground. GL&HH!!!

Every time you're rubbing your sandy fingers across those coins,.....🥺sigh ...
