I've done this Chapter in Nightmare Mode in First Try with my two friends. And yes, the annoying part for me is the candle parts. Kinda hard and the monster increased their speeds (except for blob). And they changed patterns, so you have to keep playing and memorize their patterns. It would be ez pz ;). It's really impossible to solo but nature is pro and decent mimic player. Keep it up ;)
Tip: when u use the bell the Monster can’t kill you before it reaches the bell to look like it’s “eating” and if ur doing this with friends (last part btw) you can still revive them if they had fallen but if u don’t make it in time u can’t anymore even if reach next phase and if all of you need a revive game over.

@@cherry-ae aaa yea they have been practicing it for a long time. NatureViking got 1st place in Hall of Fame in the Book 1 Nightmare HOF and played a lot of The Mimic since it got released.
Btw for the candles part both kinshin (whatever his name is) and tenome both can detect sound. You will have to crouch for them not to find nor hear you.

Is it just me or I want them to keep Kishin's color scheme from nightmare mode. One of the things that is hard on the top floor is you can't see him that well because of the dynamic lighting. All you see is his eyes and probably his shadow. The only strategy for me is to adjust the graphics to the lowest. But I don't blame the dynamic lighting it's good and it fits the genre so well. Btw also correct me if it's a she because i don't know theyre gender

She wasn't chasing him/her. If she would be chasing him/her and their screen would change (you know what im talking about) then the monster would kill them. But it technically didn't see Nature cause he/she was on another path

No, its not suppose to be in order. Be sure to check all the houses before lighting up the paintings. I played this with my bff earlier and we skipped one painting which is on the long neck lady's house. We got stucked for 30mins trying to find out what will be the last painting to be lighten up. I just realize abt it for almost 1hr.

Its pathway is just the same with normal mode but they hear you now in nightmare.

It's becuase he our the rat in the bell and now Run doesn't care about him and runs to the rat. That's why she didn't kill him.
Here’s a tip if ur soloing NM on the first part open all doors before reading the book it makes it easier when running away from rin
you can easily do this by taking a right when you spawn. you get to open bell and well room
