you're forgetting they ask him for crazy high prices thinking he's a dumb foreigner. when they sell things at 10% of their original ask they're selling it for what a local would actually purchase it for. giving them a crazy high price is dumb because it's not collin is ripping these people off

3:40 is the key to Thai markets (and a lot of other Asian markets). Every stall gets their products from a central location. They have a price that they pay from the main market and adjust their haggling accordingly.
