It's incredibly how well you have managed to embrace the absolute chaos of Indian roads. My own cousin who moved to the States for studies and settled down there couldn't handle driving in India when he returned after 10 years! :)
Thanks, I’ve done other rides in India and Vietnam so I’ve had a little practice. I like the chaos, it’s much more fun to ride in, but a little scary for a first timer 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Doesnt really matter if you were born in India, some people are not meant for the chaos.
Another excellent vid boys, excellent camera and editing work, very pro and I am loving the content thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. Plenty more to come 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Great video . Have done a modified route of that albeit much less km per day . Did it with Alex in 2006 . The heat is mental . Loving this series many thanks
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video. You certainly know what is like in the heat 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Just subscribed and are really enjoying the content but why such a pace ? So much to see is just passing you by as you try and keep up. India looks fascinating and that Triumph looks a winner 👍
Two things were up against is the heat and the duration on the bikes so we’re kinda riding faster than we normally would 👍
Looks like an awesome ride, the roads that side are faaantastic, have a blast guys. Easter to see where you go after Mysore!
It’s been amazing so far, some big miles on the bikes 👍🏍️💨💨
That little Himmi does look good
It sure does 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Great recording and editing ! Keep it up .. how did you manage to lube the chains .. how often they need lube
You’ll see some fotage of this in later episodes, after day 3 we lube the chains up.
Cant wait for triumph ❤
It’s a great bike 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Love watching you enjoying yourselves, great vids! Only one little itch: your insta360 in it‘s current position is a bit annoying.
I know the camera is a issue, my 360
Which I was supposed to use broke in transit. I’ve since got a new one for next time. Apologies. 👍
Absolutely loving this series...
Great content Great bikes and Great riding...
Ride safe waiting for the next episode 🥂
Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate the support. I’m actually excited for the next one myself 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Fantastic job with the vlogs, very fun to watch. If youre planning to come to the southern parts of Udupi or Mangalore, would love to meet yall, and show you around some beaches haha!
Thanks for the invite 👍 I’m sure we’ll be doing some more in the future. I make a note 📝 🏍️💨💨💨
Your videos are so well put together. Really enjoyable to follow your adventure through southern India, what a fabulous country.
Thanks so much! 😊 I’m really appreciate the comment. Plenty more to come 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Awesome countryside. Must admit I love countryside far more than the cities. What a trip, lucky devils!!!!!!
It really is! Thank you for the comment .. plenty more to come 👍
Great videos of this cool Adventure in south India . Thanks for the comments about this new Himalayan 450.
I already love the design of this Adv bike.
Enjoy your Adventure guys, you're Lucky 😎🤙
Many thanks for the comment 👍 it greatly appreciated. Glad your enjoying the ride 👍🏍️💨💨💨
I admire ppl who can travel the world, specially in india and africa, and eat whatever with no digestion problems :D
I’ve had my problems before this series. Once in India and food poisoning in Thailand.
@@thatbikersimon i suffered food poisoning two times and its really bad. Wish u all the best ;)
Im buying that himalyan 100%
That water cooling upgrade is a game changer 💪🏼
Exactly that’s what it needed 👍🏍️💨💨💨
which one do you suggest as an all round bike for someone who wants to keep one of them?
Well your question will be answered in the last episode number 10 👍 when I get to pick a winner 🏆
You can exchange the bikes once or twice on your trip to understand the difference between the machines and maybe help us in deciding which one to get. Loved the video btw ❤️
I’m basically riding each bike for 3 days then on the last day the 10th il decided which is best
@@thatbikersimon great to hear that!! Will follow your episodes for sure because I'm highly confused between these three bikes. Thanks in advance ❤️
Just got delivery of ktm adventure Am so happy to add it my garrage my first adventure bike ❤
Congratulations 🙌 you won’t be disappointed this is a fun bike. I love rinding this one
Is it broke yet ?
Awesome content 👌👌
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Plenty more to come 👍🏍️💨💨💨
@@thatbikersimon Eagerly waiting for 😊 Keep riding and be safe👍
As an india, the random hindi sound tracks are lowkey hilarious. But overall loving the videos!
Thanks buddy I think I only used the Hindi track for the last video, it didn’t go down well 🏍️💨💨💨
That Uh-Oh is relatable😂
Suggestion- Gap road, Munnar Kerala. Nice videos 👍
Thanks buddy I’m always open to suggestions 👍
Yet another amazing video Simon with fab content, a joy to watch.
Thanks for the comment. The support has been greatly appreciated. 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Hi simon, i seen you guys on my way to home from bengaluru to vijayawada near kadapa highway. hint to remebmer im traveling on royalenfield classic 350 with hard panniers . i remeber you guys.
That’s awesome. I can remember, thanks for watching hope your enjoying the ride. 👍🏍️💨💨💨
It would be nice if you could alter your camera mount positions a bit. The cam on the handlebars is smack in the way at all times. Just mount it lower? Put the helmet cam on top of the visor? Something like that. how does itchy boots do it? Fun times very envious!
Itchy boots is on her Own bike lol these are loan bikes so it’s not always possible to mount the camera where you want to without custom mounts, but I hope you enjoy it 👍🏍️💨💨💨
You can try eating Idli which is made of rice flour and isn’t spicy at all. Just ask them to not put curry inside idli and give that separately in a bowl.
It’s bland for my taste but it’s a light breakfast for the ride.
You can try yoghurt with rice which is called ‘ curd rice ‘ for lunch if you don’t want to try anything spicy.
Thanks for the tips! Il give it a try 👍 I don’t mind the spice though
Fuel use could be down to the rider not the bike so a change in rider may prove or disprove the fuel drinkage. Again excellent and fun vid!
I think your probably right. It’s the smallest tank but I think with more sensible riding it will do the distance 👍
Do you think the Himalayan will be good for a first bike? What is an adventure bike mainly for?
Of course a good all rounder, the Himalayan 450 is a very versatile bike. It’s used for exactly what we’re using it for in this series. 👍
@@thatbikersimon thank you very much, such a great video.
I m very confused..should i but triumph scrambler 400 or interceptor 650?
Well to different bikes, it really depends on how you like to ride
Usually at 3:21, the potato fillinf should be threice what they put in for you. the whole taste lies in the filling. Also what is that screen under the speedometer in your himalayan. It is showing Insta360. But what model is it? I dont seem to find the lens there. Only display.
The helmet camera was a insta 360 ace pro. Thansks for the comment
Nice work Simon 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Superb. Which one after the Himalayan?
You’ll find out in episode 4 only one more ride on the Himalayan 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Himalayan apple vs Austrian Orange hopefully.
Nice Videos Simon, keep it up Bro ❤
Thanks buddy 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Please talk about the luggage carrying capacity of each bike, and about the ride quality!
There’s 10 episodes to come to you’ll might just get this information 👌
Wäre interessant zu wissen, wie hoch die Verbräuche der Bikes sind. Volltanken, beim nächsten Tankstopp Verbrauch vergleichen. Danke.
If I get a opportunity in the near future I will
Pls upload videos as soon as possible
waiting.......
I’m on it 👍 each video take around 10 hours to edit but I shall try my very best get keep them coming regularly 🏍️💨💨💨💨
Another exelent vodeo.
Glad you enjoyed it
0:48. those vibrations on the mirror
That camera will be making that look worse. The vibration doesn’t kick in until 7,000rpm
@@thatbikersimonLooking forward to your review on the other bikes, specially the 400X which looks dope
Fantastic work Simon. When's the next one?
Thanks.. coming soon 🔜 👍
found the music in the video quite annoying. enjoyed everything else though.
watching you eat that roadside food brought up thoughts of Deli belly.
Il choose some other music in the next one
I am watching n subscribe you watching triumph Scrambler 400x specially ❤😊
The triumph is a great looking bike for sure 👍🏍️💨💨💨
So Alex who owns these bikes lives here in India ?
Yes he’s lived in India and runs a company called nomadic knights.
Stunning
Thank you! Cheers!
3:05 German police nightmare. ❤😂
😂
That bike has 10 litres capacity and a range of 700 kms 😂. Fill it. Shut it. Load it. Forget it.
14:20 Why do all the western vlogs use the same hindi sound track 😅
Probably because we can’t use copy right music 🎵
Waiting for triumph video
It’s going to be good 👍🏍️💨💨💨
What's the Scottish lads name?
Alex
Are you planning to visit north east mizoram,if u did,ill welcome you guys😂🔥
It’s not on the plan but it has been suggested.. so potentially in the near future 👍
@@thatbikersimon Plz do, North-East is by far d most beautiful region of India, clean as well as d most unique/diverse...a remote & unexplored natural/cultural paradise on d foothills of d Eastern Himalayas bordering SE Asia, full of stunning natural wonders & home 2 hundreds of unique indigenous tribes/communities who're very welcoming 2 visitors. It's like a perfect a perfect bland of India & SE Asia in every way, also sparsely populated outside d main cities, so hassle free adventure among mountains/jungles on open roads, which're improving at a rapid pace. Do consider on ur next visit 2 India.
Awle mizoram ah chuan kanlo zin donnia minlo Mikhail ang chule .😅
@@fakachongthu9689 lo leng rawh kalo welcome ang che😂
Hello simon from bodoland assam india🙏🧡🤍💚
Hello and welcome to the channel 👍🏍️💨💨
KTM looks great 😊
I do like the looks of rhe KTM 👍
Bought new Himalayan 450
It is a peppy machine and handling isn't it?
Great job. I’m seriously considering one my when I’m back in the uk. Great adventure bike. Ride safe 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Would u say it's a good bike for a first bike? What reason did you buy an adventure bike?
I don't know what's wrong with foreigners in India or videos, please do not use this kind of indian song or music... It is hilarious even for us Indians 😂 no one listens to this.. this is an adaptation of west of indian music... Anyways love your videos bro..
Something more modern in the next one 👍
Its super sad and dangerous that you let the Triumph ride without a side mirror. Could have just fixed it at Shivamoga with nothing but a spanner from one of them mechanics. I feel so terrible for him to have rode without the mirror. Being an Indian, living and riding in India, I would never ride without them.
It was the riders choice and responsibility at the time to make that decision. I personally would of done it myself
@@thatbikersimon Yea. He did look like a man who needed the electric toothbrush more than he did the mirror.
To reset the trip, go to the trip you want to reset and then long press the joystick to the left
I had the same struggle, had to call up the RE guys.
It took me 2 days to figure it out lol.. it’s about a 5 second hold to the left 👍
Adventure not my kind these bikes are made for full on off road
Wait for the next episode coming soon, one of these bikes isn’t a good for off road riding
What about BMW GS 310?
We’ve not got one of those bikes.
@@thatbikersimon its ok. Loving that you are riding the himi and others and sharing your experience. Much thanks. Invaluable.
You still can't beat the Brits in designing and the math thanks to their fantastic A levels, well the Himalayan is a result of that A levels.I know most of u won't understand, but then Google
Here here 👍🏍️👍💨💨
Gosh plz change the background music it's pathetic 😂
I can’t use licensed music. Any requests?
@@thatbikersimon let me find out Simon....let you know
@thatbikersimon your video is amazing I miss British accent but I enjoyed ur buddy speaking like a proper brit would ..... all the best 👍....enjoy the diversity in my country
And, another great video production by Simon.
I really love your videos, for sure one of the best if not the best motorcycle adventures of youtube.
Great comments and comparisons of the bikes.
Cant wait for next episode
Cheers from Croatia
ktm390 adv is much better better than rest of them😂😂😂
Interesting, is a quick bike for sure 👍
The selection of music is ridiculous and racist 😂
I didn’t write the music. Glad you enjoyed it. 😂
@@thatbikersimon loving your videos I wanted to buy the Himalayan watching a lot of review yours is the best 😁
Thanks 👍
Stunning
Thank you! Cheers!
