Great episode, as always! Do you allow farm visits? Also, do you source your dam from the river or borehole? I'm in the USA for now and would really love to visit Mondo Farms. Thanks for sharing.
May I suggest the use of ordinary knapsacks when the plants are in the early stage ( the first 4 to 5 weeks). I am sure this will be adequate and cost effective. It will also be good for the young plants.
Hi there. The Shadehouse shown was supplied by the Zambia agents for Haygrove, a leading international firm.. I'm sure that Haygrove has a local agent in your country. Pls get in touch with them.
Hello am also starting to develop in your area , Have a question about boreholes what's Depth are you guys at? we were at 100metes with very little water
Yes borehole water in the Chongwe area is definitely a challenge. We have dug a lot of boreholes over the years around our farm and not found the amount of recharge we really need to take the farm to the next level. A lot similar experiences to what you describe. But we have no choice but to keep pushing...
Hi mondo farms good work...am from Uganda I do agriculture but it’s something new that iam venturing in. I was wondering if you have a section for those interested in training and volunteering to work at your farm. Iam will be so grateful if you reply my message. Thank u
Sorry, we don't have accommodation for visitors of such nature at the farm. It may look civilised on our videos, but most of the place us still just bush that is being transformed. But we are working on the idea of putting up a place for people to come and stay. No timeline for that as yet, though. Meanwhile, I suggest you start visiting some farms closer to home. Uganda has a very advanced agricultural sector from what I have seen on various videos. Good luck
@@mondofarms4343 thank you so much sir keep doing the good work you do. It may seem small to u but it has inspired me to expand on the little I had. God bless u 🇺🇬
