It seems like the way recombinators work now is that they can't produce items that weren't otherwise possible (i.e. can't have two fractured mods, can't have two essence mods)
If essences don't work with recombinators then that might actually be good for increasing the odds of getting the mods you want. As long as the essence mods are counted towards the total amount of mods (and I dont see why it shouldn't) then it can be used to our advantage in other waysm

I am sorry that the recombinator didn't work for you. I must have got lucky with mine. I found a ton of different claws in my mapping. The claw I have right now has a tier 2 attack speed roll at 25% and a two very high ele damage rolls. I didn't get the crit chance. But I did get crit multi.

I am pretty certain the purpose of this has always been merging two items with modifiers that are pretty good but need to be on one item. I personally would have assumed that recombining two essence crafted items would only allow one essence modifier. I wouldn't say that recombining is dead, but it's def not as easy as slapping two essences on two items and then slapping those two items together anymore.

Tried to recomb a vaal axe today, did spend 5 div and then got mad cause I thought I was hitting multiple times the 10-20% odd. Then got mad and spent my last 5 div as well. And now I play with a 500pdps weapon cause I'm broke 😂 Pretty sure double fractured is also not possible. Idk I tried soooo many times.
I just notice what multistrike dont work with vaal LS, not just with vaal ability, normal LS from vaal LS dont work too, I don't know if it was intended that way

It seems that it can produce ”illegal items” anymore. So no double essence, no double fracture, no double temple mod items etc. I fear it also means ”no spell suppression on armour bases” :/
@@RichHeart89 Another thing you can do t is raise the lvl of good item you have since the new base is not the lvl of either base but the average so you can now make lvl 86 ritual bases with it

No sentinel mod, no multi unveiled mod, no multi escense mod, no multi fractured mod, far easier to lose mod, valuable mods are usually removed. The only good thing is no trash mod filled and up/downgrade chance are almost the same as before. It is almost the same as no such thing. And the league mechanic is silly, cost tons of time and reward nothing. 800k value only rewards 3 runes, less than 10chaos for a lv9 port to Kalguur.

They can't even transfer fractured from one item to another even if the other doesn't have a fracture.

there're better ways of blocking mods than spamming low tier essence until you hit a mod you want

Evasion one is cheap you can use it + lightning coil and grace to feel just as tanky

I have tried for 3 days now to craft a double fracture sword, and it just does not seem possible. Wasted 3 div's on crafting bases so far

Have you considered Lightning Strike of Arcing? Or Is Vaal Lightning Strike better ?
He is using vaal lightning strike of arcing (yes you can have both)
Arcing is best known for deadeye since it has few base proj and scales with chain dmg. Other classes better off with normal LS

Yes it's basically just for elusive effect + culling but those nodes are not big priority so you can go for other ones first

Alva mods does seem to not work as well. I tried more thant 13 times and it failed.
