We rescued this baby deer fawn from Hurricane Idalia. The damage from this storm was way worse than we ever could have imagined. She would not have survived otherwise. Crazy footage of trees falling, downed power lines, and other damage from the storm.

I'm a conservationist because of my grandpa. He has taught me so much about being a good steward of the land. A big misconception about hunters is that we just run around killing things because we like to. I believe that every animal should be given a fair chance at life. This baby would have had no chance. We are blessed with the technology to know when certain disasters will happen. Thank you for doing your part. God bless
Very lively household with those three little ones helping. Love country life. ✌🏻🫶🏻
Blessed this guy for saving this little baby Deer and protecting his family ❤😊
We raised a fawn that the mother got hit by a truck 3 years ago. It's still on my property mooching for feed. She won't go away. She doesn't take my scary faces and growles seriously. I think she laughs at me when i shoo her away. lol
How is she
Hi. Thanks for giving the precious angel a chance at life. Were you successful reuniting her with mom? ❤
Is there anything as beautiful as a fawn
She is adorable! We just moved out to the country in Central Texas and we have a lot of white tail deer. I absolutely love watching them!
She's too cute
you're sons are allready so respectfull towards animals! great parents 🙏🏻
Name her Stormy.
I don’t know how I got lucky enough to come across your channel in the midst of suffering from the worst bout of cold and flu I have ever had. What a breath of fresh air! I love seeing your lovely family and saving this baby was so wonderful. And such teachable moments for these young boys. Thank you so much. You have a new subscriber, an old granny from Washington state.
Welcome to the channel! I sure hope you start to feel better!

What a beautiful baby. What a beautiful family! God bless you all and stay safe in Florida!
Thank you!
Nature can be so hard, and on the other hand so beautiful.
Gorgeous little boys!!
The fawn is very cute too. I'm guessing you all made it through even though the video didn't talk about the second half of the storm....
Love it! What happened to all those goats & sheep you used to have??
She's so cute . !
сколько смотрел видео - я просто обожаю олененышей у меня собака русский той и он очень похож на малыша оленя - если вы помогаете малышам - спасибо вам
They better 'Batten Down The Hatches' before that storm hit's.
I loved this story, every scene inside the house and out is so touching!❤
God Bless!! Beautiful family you have!! Hoping all goes well there too!!🙏💯🦌❤️
That girl is my ant!😊
Glad yall all ok and God bless yall. Lila or sky sounds like a great name for the little deer.
What awesome friends.
Fawns by definition are babies, if they weren't babies they would be stags or hinds.
He knows that. It's to attract the city folks that call every baby animal baby and have no clue. It's 2023, and people don't get out much.
You can keep them till a certain age. I’ve known dozens of people that have done it. Better than dogs and in the house but when they get older you gotta let them go or they will tear your house up🤣🤣. They usually come back with their families/children to visit
Name the fawn Faith.
Great name.

Omg My son had those fire truck pajamas. He’s 11 years old now. I miss those pajamas
Name her, Hurricane.
Wow what a great channel!
First of all, I am so glad that everyone is safe. I've just started watching your videos after watching one of AFH's videos. Stormie might be a cute name for her. I was wondering, is she not able to be reunited with her mamma since the storm is over, or once they are removed will mamma deer reject her?
Turkish for fawn is Ceren. Pronounced Geren.
Great job
how does one keep the deer from doing deer do do in the house?
Name her Dottie!
Name her violet.jr
Name her lucky!! Or Stormy
Did you reunite her with her mother?
Good
...you probably like it better than hunting...
Couldn’t you have brought Mum and Bub into a shelter. Not judging at all. Maybe you don’t have a barn of sorts. Cheers
We dont have a facility where we could do that. Some of our deer are very docile, but others not so much and would be difficult to get them inside a shelter.
I totally understand. I am sure you will take excellent care of the little fawn.
@@louiserenton9380 shes doing great!
